how come none of my other flight paths in kalimdor link to the one in ratchet? I have a few in elf land. the closest being ashenvale and desolance

I found that weird myself, but only played horde in vanilla, maybe it’s a bug? Otherwise maybe it’s intended?
I thought that too but my stormwind flight path connects to booty bay no problem. I figured it only made sense. so I dunno why no one wants to take me to and from this stupid gobbo town
Actually this might be a bug, old flight path maps shows direct alliance routes between ratchet and darkshore.

Maybe it only connects to Theramore? I don’t remember exactly where Ratchet connects, but it does connect to the rest of the Alliance Kalimdor flight paths somehow.

NM it’s not a bug… I found official strat guides from back in the day shows ratchet always leads around the Barrens to get back to elf land.
You need azshara and then you can get back to darkshore better.

This. Talrendis Point in Azshara, which is just barely across the border when coming in from Ashenvale.
Otherwise, one can snag the Theramore flight point in Dustwallow Marsh, which should connect by boat to Menthil Harbor in Wetlands. This is a major hub that connects other paths.
It just depends what direction you’re coming from.

just hiked to azshara through ashenvale and the fp was right there. grabbed it and it connected booty bay to the elf people. thanks 
If you pop into Dushwallow Marsh, and die - the alliance graveyard is right next to Theramore Isle, then you can grab the FP that connects Ashenvale to Ratchet

Thanks for the info, man! I was wondering what I was missing to connect Ratchet with the rest of Ally Kalimdor.
Count yourselves lucky. Ratchet didn’t even have a flight path for most of Vanilla.

For some reason, Ratchet must connect to Theramore, then it will take you all the way up to Auberdine. First, I took the boat from Auberdine to Menethil Harbor, then the boat from Menethil Harbor to Theramore. I grabbed the flight path in Theramore and voila. Happy flying!
I ran from Orgrimmar to Ratchet and picked up the FP. Orgrimmar is my hearth and I had already clicked on the flight master in Org. The Ratchet flight master said “no flight paths available”. However when I got to Crossroads and picked up the FP, I was able to go to either Org or Ratchet.

You’re full of crap or haven’t been playing long, back in the original game prior to 1.12.1 we had the flight plan in Ratchet, only during the OG beta did we not have them. You were NOT there I 100% guarantee or you’d know that.
P.S: Classic reboot are all on 1.15+, none of you have experienced this.

Who gives a flying crap what year it this thread was started? Someone lied through their teeth and I called them out on it, get off the forums if it bothers you.
