Rastakhan - Dumbest Immortal Wise King ever?

No only did he just sit on his throne and ignore the threats from the Sethrakk and the Blood Trolls. He traded his entire bloodline to punch Zul in the face, which didn’t actually stop the giant monster from shooting the seal. I can understand being ignorant. But this was supposed to be built up as the wisest kings ever, blessed by the Loa.

People complain that the Alliance killed him, but I figure he would’ve tripped and impaled himself on a spike even if the Alliance did nothing.

Seems like the Loa’s wanted him to die since none of them even bothered telling him “Hey everythings going to hell out there”

He’s a troll, they’re not known for their intelligence.

I mean… when you sit and think about it the Zandalari’s biggest accomplishments in history were thus:

  1. Not being considered a big enough threat, or rich enough for Azshara to conquer at the height of Elven expansion and power.
  2. Upon discovering that one of the Troll Tribes were empowering their Loa, hiring mercenaries to kill them.
  3. Upon realizing that they’re being utterly ignored on the world stage, attempting (and failing) to restore their alliance with the Mogu, and losing innumerable resources and lives as a tertiary theatre in a global war, getting their chief prophet and princess captured as a result.
  4. Being considered so insignificant, that despite their Chief Prophet and Crown Princess being imprisoned no attempt to negotiate a peace settlement with them as bargaining chips was considered by the Alliance for… over 3 Expansions.
  5. Having a navy so outdated and security arrangements so miserable that a single Gnomish submersible was able to enter their primary harbor and set up remote controlled explosives that wiped out virtually the entirety of their fleet.

after he sent his ENTIRE army including all the guards to nazmir, it became clear that he shouldn’t have been king at all.

To be fair we are also kinda dumb. We help Zul inadvertently.

Honestly, it was a way to get Zandalari in the game, with Paladins. They needed something to put the Kul Tiran race to even more shame, after all.

They needed a platform to force Talanji onto us.

Every single allied race leader is female except the diaper gnome dude.

Im a socially left guy but even I could see the obvious agenda at play.

I mean, you can’t expect much from a troll…

True, him being king of the trolls just made him double stupid.

If the zandalari empire didn’t disband azhara doesn’t even exist. Also Rastakhan has been in power for over 250+ years (not much).

Imagine trying to get things while having someone know all the results. Zul knew every step to get what he wanted. It really ended crappy tho. I hate how they turned zul into a puppet of some abomination old god thing in Uldir.

they weren’t taken for that long. Let alone that would’ve been way more interesting. Zandalari knowing about this and sieging stormwind in BFA plot would have put a lot of things in a cooler story ark.

Again they where outsmarted by all the situations happening around them. Uldir + alliance + the staff. What do you expect?

Do you realize that if the zandalari unite all the troll tribes the mmo ends? Nobody could beat us. Literally canon.

All of BfA in a nutshell. All sides. All angles. All characters. All intelligence canceled for the sake of this idiotic plotline. Characters who are stupid are even MORE stupid, and the characters who should know better…?

Imagine saving Argus and the world from Legion annihilation and the. being grouped up with recruits as champions of the Horde. :triumph:

Not inadvertently. If you didn’t trust Zul you had no choice. You were on rails.

Trolls’ best shot at power was to stick with Lei Shen and kiss his electric behind.
Loa are weak af

A lot of characters got hit HARD with the “make dumb to brute force the plot” hammer.

That’s true, forced part of the questline. It’s kinda a forced mistake, tbh I didn’t know any better I thought they were just being weird.

Didn’t we beat up like half the Loas? Those trolls gods are weak!

I mean the night elves had no defences for anyone trying to burn down a giant old tree.

That’s pretty stupid too.

And several were already dead.

Theoretically the Burning Legion should burnt down the entirety of Northern Kalimdor, just summon in some infernals to crash into the forest.

It’s just bad writer, i mean Stormwind was almost turned to ash from Zul just lighting some woods with a single torch.

Don’t take WOW writing too seriously, they don’t believe in hiring based on merit.
