WTH… seriously, fix it.
Look around there are rares spawned.
Sounds like one of their “working as intended” things, to have you chasing rares all over the zone for hours only to see them die a few seconds before you can get in range to tag them.
“Fun” and “interesting” “gameplay.”

I’ve killed 3 rares today, not counting the WQ rares. Only two of them gave me kill credit for the bounty. The chitterspine crab just up and died without giving me credit. And yes, I tagged it. It was literally me and a druid killing it.
I have a limited amount of time I can spend per session. The way the quest is set up now, I don’t have the time to spend running around ‘exploring’ to find rares. In WoD and Legion, rares would get an icon on the map when they spawned. This was really helpful both from a time perspective and logistically. Why implement a standard in 2 previous expansions, only to disregard it in the next one.
