How do people know where the next spawn is so quickly…..
There is a guide on wowhead. They spawn every 10 minutes in a set order.
But they do also show on the map when they spawn, so you have time to reach them. Folks who are waiting will still have to disrupt the ritual before the rare is attackable.

AddOn: RareScanner will play a sound when it detects a rare. Works with all the normal rares around the world and it also works with the Midnight event. Try it out.
I have RareScanner but it only notifies when it has already popped…….can you set it so it shows the next rare based on times?

I don’t know that. I’m fairly new to it as well. I just know that when the sound plays… I hop on my dragon and I’m there in time to kill it. Use SkyRiding to get there faster.
To add to this, there is a grouping of floating rock platforms players are hanging out on between rares.

Front page of wowhead has a timer with what bosses are next for the next 40 minutes.
rarescanner tells you when next one will spawn and tells you all the others timers and locations
So X will show spawns in 10mins and another X could show spawns in 50mins
Does it do this by default or do you need to configure it that way? I have the addon but never seem to read it right.
Can you share the link to the Guide on WowHead, I can’t find it. I am tying to get a couple of Hunter pets and they are always gone.
Just open your map, an icon for the rare pops up when it spawns.

they appear in a certain area order but you can mouse over the rare icons and it will show a timer for when they next appear, plus they are often pink not green.
Oh, I forgot rare scanner with also show in chat what the next rare spawning is, right after you kill one.
And RareScanner also marks the next rare on the map as a pinkish head icon. The green ones are just the other spawn points, but the pink will be next. Sometimes there are two rares up (voice of the ecplipse and a named one) so just go after the one that played the sound 1st. Then fly to the other one and you’ll have a chance at both.
