Curious … are there any hyper rare jewelcrafting crafts like the infamous elemental lariat in TWW?
I never found that stupid thing in DF and I have hopped off to alchemy but finding it to be not very fun, and very RNG based lol. Was thinking of hopping back to JC … but wanted to make sure there wasn’t some insanely rare drop that entirely determined if you make money or not again 
JC has a number of recipes that come from drops. Some of them are not hard to get but the recipes are still very costly on the AH.
These include 
Three blasphemite recipes (culminating, elusive, insightful) - these drop in dungeons - can be pricy on AH (but not too bad)
The recipe for magnificent jeweler’s setting (allowing crafting another gem slot on rings and neck) - drops in silken court - has been costly on ah (over 500k) but price should come down.
The recipe for the Binding of binding ring (most sought after ring for raids/m+) - drops from theatre event - has been initially priced at over 500k - haven’t checked for a while - but is not as rare as lariat.
