Karokta as of 25 May 2023 seems to be spawning as just an elite and not a rare elite making her loot table different. Handynotes/Rarescanner not tracking her anymore. As if I already killed her for the day. Unit’s target frame is a gold outline instead of the silver rare one. In a group of about 8 people, we all got gray loot items. No blues, flightstones, or anything else.

This is not a bug. Blizzard made a change on Tuesday to all Cavern rares so that the ones outside the Caldera only reset the day after their region was inactive. As a result, rares outside the Caldera can only be killed once every 4 days.
They supposedly raised the rate of all drops off these rares to counter-balance this, but I’m not sure if that has borne out in practice yet.

I…dont like this. I’ve been farming the same rare for a manuscript since the zone opened. This, honestly, will probably just make it worse, unless they made it a 50% drop or higher.

It has definitely resulted in the zone feeling less active at more times, for sure.

I thought it was a bug too but then read about the change. At least that explains why current contet - the Zaralek caverns - has felt completely dead for a few days now. It’s pretty bad. After the initial kill people just don’t give a crap about the zone for the next few days, way to make it feel like outdated garbage

Thanks for explaining. I was very confused as seeing the rare as an elite over the rare since I hadn’t tried for the mount today.
