the Rider’s pose for this mount just looks so silly! Even though it is using the same skeleton as the skyblazer, and actually looks a bit smaller, the skyblazer just lets the legs of the rider clip through it, it’s not perfect but it looks more elegant.
Can we please change it?

all i ask is for modesty!
I’m trying really hard to ignore it but then this angle hits my eyeballs.
hmm. is this a race specific issue or do all riders do this?
I don’t feel like i have notice this on worgen.
is it because the mount is Thicker than other mounts?
Every race I’ve tried it on does it. I honestly feel like I wasted my resources making my raptora. I’m never gonna ride it if they dont change the ridiculous pose.
I honestly cant think of a single mount that uses the new wide legged riding stance where I’ve thought it was an improvement.

I recall the thrill when Solar Spirehawk finally dropped and wanted to use it for my fire mage, and then I saw her mounted with a robe on…ugh…

for robe users i agree, it is never an improvement
I think everyone else can get away with it on huge mounts, but yea mostly it just looks bad, and doesn’t really fix clipping issues anyway
my condolences, that is such a rare mount worth riding, if it didn’t make you lose respect for your character
Hey thank you for teaching me Flash Heal a long time ago!

This leg issue is just made worse by robes, but it has happened before (the first Kyrian mount that you got from the campaign was like this on my male Blood Elf, though it was fixed in the first patch at least). The worse issue on this Raptora mount (and the Sapphire one) is that your character bobs up and down rather independently of the mount, and just looks ridiculous, like a cork bobbing in water.
I feel like the recent mount additions (and changes to some older rigs) haven’t been as high quality, animation-wise, as past offerings. The majority of the horses look silly when used as a ground mount, like you’re on a forward-moving rocking horse. The hippogryphs were changed and now the player rocks back and forth and the mount’s butt wobbles. The back legs on the lupine mount from ZM look like the poor thing has hip dysplasia when it’s flying (though I know they plan to fix it, thankfully). Things like this are so distracting that I just don’t use any of these newer mounts.

this is a good observation, i hadn’t thought too hard about some of the ones you mentioned but yes. The skyblazer was changed too, I remember when first released the running animation played faster, and while it was a little frantic the movement was cleaner. now that they slowed it down the character and mount arent fully synced.
