I’m not playing Legion Remix, well I’m trying it out but I’m only level 16, I’m just bored of doing the same dungeons over and over again. I enjoyed mythic + but once the grind is done, the achievements won, the gear got .. well, the incentive to do repeat content gets less and less each week.
Imagine if Blizzard removes Mythic+ from the game, I wonder what would happen lol…
Correction: M+ dies, the game dies. Fast.
Most people were done with Mythic+ awhile ago. I’ve seen many, many people with the Mythic+ mounts. They purposefully make the content itself rather insufferable and not that fun to play, but the rewards are OK so once people get the rewards they stop doing the content.
I don’t do Mythic+, but every season I have a goal of killing the ?? boss at least once which I did so my main goal is already accomplished. I still do 8 tier 11 delves on a few toons as I’m close to getting the 500 delve achievement. It all feels pointless, but so does everything this late in season, and if we’re honest with ourselves it’s always ‘pointless’ to play a video game unless maybe you’re skilled enough to earn real money doing it or stream for $$$ lol.
I agree they should have content that’s more fun for its own sake rather than a reward or competitive based structure but I don’t think they will. It does feel kind of ‘soulless’ though not the best use of word, overly mechanical and systematized for sure.
I quit retail to play remix and after their BS turbo boost garbage I will be playing remix and not going back to retail til the new xpac. I only log into retail to do my Molten core failed for the molten front stuff. There is absolutely nothing I want anymore, my retail toon is 719 ilvl and got the AOTC and not interested in pursuing mythic progress. Remix gives me something to push towards and collecting all the xmogs and mounts so I never have to farm khara, night hold and Argus ever again.
Retail is over and boring AF now, I turbo boost was just a slap in the player bases face.
You think +10s are sweat?
Irrelevant. Blizzard already had an industry reputation of glacially slow management decisions needed to get changes approved. Adding another layer or two of decision gaters at the top of managers who have zero familiarity with Blizzard and its products is going to simply inject chaos into planning and content release.
I doubt it.
I mean, I have a full friends list. 5% pvp, maybe 20% raid.. 100% run M+, all the time.
Well i mean, just cuz other people dont wanna play what you play, dont mean blizz killed it lol
Since you do M+ primarily your friends list will reflect that everybody does M+, the causal players, PVP and delvers wont miss it and the raiders will be a mixed bag between the ones who did it for gear and those who will be happy they don’t have to do it anymore to raid.
Sure. Numbers of total runs done say otherwise.
BlizZard is afraid of easy wins.
Not saying business should be happy with small gains when they can potentially go after big gains. But a MMORPG like WoW still depends on word of mouth and people playing with friends, families and guildmates. DF and TWW was a step into fixing the foundation but BlizZard is sprinting away from the foundation they built looking to build on shaky fluff ground once more.

I not a key person but I love being hilariously op. Plus heroic world tier is pretty fun.
Well so far they are doing fine. I started playing late Wrath, early Cat I’ve liked every expansion that has come out, especially the more recent ones.
He Just has tons of Gold bro. He is not jesus, clearly not trying to be a martir or something like that lol
Correction: when Mythic+ is removed from the game, the game returns much more to what it was originally intended to be. The 1% of the current players who do Mythic+ routinely, the sweats, won’t be missed.
It probably has more to do with fellowship
Not sure. Haven’t touched a mythic+ outside of a +2 for those quests you get for Gilded crests since Legion.
Used to tank on my warrior, up to 15s in Legion, I think, then started thinking to myself, this is craziness: go, go, go go mentality, can’t stop even for a second, perfect routing, things exploding on the screen that you can’t even tell what is happening, stupid affixes…I wanted no more part of it and stopped one dungeon short of key master, then took about 5 years off. I came back and the only reason I’ve stayed a few months that I have her because of Delves.
