Ranked Solo Queue 3v3 & 10v10!

Listen,

I do not have time to find players with equal caliber to play with. I work, and sometimes play early in the mornings.

Every other competitive game is doing this. Create a separate bracket, and watch the PvP participation quadruple or even 10x.

For anyone with an excuse:

  1. Blizzard can’t get anything right. So might as well spark it up.
  2. Team compositions are meaningless - The team who adapts to the situation the best, wins. (For example, you can get Diamond I in League by picking 5 troll champions every time. (Its more about skill) (This applies to every game with solo queue)
  3. Solo Queue is extremely addicting in every game that has it. (Solo Queue game modes have the highest views on Twitch by a long shot)
  4. Literally the best way to learn PvP. Difficulty rises the higher rating you get.
  5. No time wasted - Log in and Queue - No need to wait - No need to set up calendar invites - No nothing
  6. Voice communication is not needed (Nobody voices in other solo queue games)

EDIT

  1. No more “You’re an A class, therefore you can only queue with B class and C class…” Literally three things: easier balancing, freedom, and FUN!

  2. "LINK 4K CR / 3000 EXP OR NO INVITE" Toxicity abolished - Many new players will dive into competitive PvP!

Clarifications:

  1. Solo Queue is a separate bracket, you will not face premades. (That’s where the fun comes from)
  2. Obviously the role compositions will be pre-set, IE. (1 healer 2 dps for 3v3)

According to some people doing LFG to find a pvp arena partner makes the game feel better… if they added that they would never hear the end of it.

Just like why they have not added M0 to the LFD queue or Island Expedition Mythics.

I have been waiting for this for YEARS (since the dawn of Arena, actually). I am in the same boat as OP, wonky schedule with varied playtimes.

Sitting around waiting for people to message you back is garbo. If I want to PvE I get into LFG and just go, it’s fun. Why we cannot do that for ranked PvP makes no sense.

Edit: I think the randomness of solo que would be a whole new challenge for people and be an interesting spin on ranked PvP.

Don’t ever compare World of Warcraft to SWTOR. You should be banned for even mentioning that.

Also, with the amount of class pruning, we’re basically no different than League of Legend champions anyways.

There is a solo queue, it simply isn’t ranked. Finding 1 person to play with is really not that hard, if you want to play ranked go do it.

Do you not realize how big of a problem “3000 CR / 3000 EXP MIN ONLY” is?

SO MANY PEOPLE WILL BE INTRODUCED TO COMPETITIVE PVP WITH SOLO QUEUE.

The lack of a system like this is the main reason that I am not a consistent subscriber to this game.

This essentially removes the toxic gatekeepers of the community and allows people to find friends to play with.

I’ve been saying this forever! I think ranked solo would add so many players to the pvp pools and end up balancing out a lot of match making by adding more possibilities.

Hell yeah,

I can bring my entire squad from University back in a second if this gets put in the game. Jesus this would make World of Warcraft one of the top games on twitch.

Can they not just “try” it for a season to see if it would blow up???! Like hello!?

It’s easy to implement this in the game… with a huge positive impact for everyone.

Ranked PVP is not the same as LFR/LFD.

“Ranked PVE” would be like…mythic raiding. Something that also has no queue.

Oh my god imagine if this game had ranked PVE as well… I would play everyday.

If only there was a way for ranked PVE to distinguish skill levels…

Imagine ranked PVE with ranks like (bronze, silver, gold etc…)…

I swear this game has so much potential but Blizzard is too blind.

They do have “ranked PVE”.

Mythic+
Mythic Raid progression.

I don’t see how that would possible work and not be a terrible idea.

A queue system for high end m+ and mythic raiding? That would be absolutely hilarious to watch, for all the wrong reasons.

I think what I’m getting from this is that we need faster ways to do things instead of what we all probably do now, which is log in, wait 45 minutes in boralus for a grp, then log off after it disbands after one wipe/loss. Solo queue would help this a lot.

If everyone around your 20 man is within your caliber, it would be an amazing experience.
