I totally loved Fury tanking

It just wasnât for me. Fury and Prot were fun though.
for me its random battlegrounds with marksmanship hunters, shadow priests, outlaw rouges and the occasional demon hunter shenanigans

Honestly I think the fight plays heavily into how you rank this, like Destro feels like crap if something is a high mobility fight or fast paced such the weekly dungeons, yet in on par content where you limited movement tricks are enough to dodge big mechanics its a lot more fun.

As a returning player:

Ret Paladin as it has good lore and when I played it in TBC it required serious knowlexgs about the class to build a meta spec. Just before the pre-patch I was top DPS in raids. I feel shadowlands again putz us in an underdog position and I likd disproving people. Its insane burst windows every minuts ia fun seeing ths mobs just melt.

Rogue, just the choices you can make to.optimizd your performance are great. And the talent names just rock; mutilate ftw

Feral druid - alotta work to do pretty bad dps makes me sad.
Aff lock is fun to me and SP are fun, although not as much as in BFA. I donât enjoy any mage or rogue specs.
Most fun:

Survival Hunter - I reconverted my BM in 9.0 and it was fun, but this patch he had a meteoric rise. Currently at my second best toon, and actually my best DPS.

Demonology Warlock - I may not be the best with it, and in fact my cute vulpera demolock has always been a secondary character at best, but i always have lots of fun with it. Maybe some of the fun comes from the vulperas being very funny.

Destruction Warlock - My main all the way from 2018 when i started playing retail until 9.1 when i switched to my holy priest. What i have to say, i just love hitting big fat chaos bolts (sadly grimoire of supremacy isnt there anymoreâŠ).

Windwalker Monk - My orc WW monk is another one of my prepatch alts that rose like foam in SL. Flashy attacks, insane dps, lots of mobility, and some abilities like RoP are very satisfying to use, i always have a laugh using it when the Spiteful ghosts keep bouncing away over and over.

Feral Druid, Fury Warrior, Marksmanship Hunter, Arcane Mage (cant really decide which one is more fun so i just included all four in this spot)

Note: I consider Fire mage one of my most disliked specs but its not because of boring but because i am so bad with it that i dont enjoy playing it. So it doesnt feature here.

Havoc Demon Hunter - In BFA i had a crisis with tanking so i switched my vdh and prot warrior to dps. But i was really falling asleep playing Havoc, so in the end i reverted the changes. Vengeance may not be my favourite because i dont like tanking, but it is way more fun for sure.

Balance Druid - My poor druid had a big identity crisis in BFA. Started at resto, i was totally clueless, so i switched to balance, and it sometimes felt really slow and boring. Switched to Feral, immediately doubled my dps. So yeah, not going back. Plus feral is a very fitting spec for a worgen.

Beast Mastery Hunter - My current surv hunter was originally BM, but during the Maw intro i was falling asleep. I had a melee agi weapon sitting on my bags for whatever reason. Since i already have a MM hunter, i decided to try Survival instead, the rest is history.

Affliction Warlock - DoT specs are really NOT my thing, and Aff is the poster child of DoTs. Very likely that i will never touch this spec.

Arms Warrior - I find it has way too much downtime. At least it was that way in BFA, it may be different now, but i am good with my fury war, have no desire to change it.

Near the end when we had so much gear, being able to store missile charges and just blowing things up was amazing and stupid funâŠitâs a shame they changed it to what it is now

Your one of the few people Iâve seen say that. I started in Legion and I loved Arcane then, and MM. changes for bfa killed both specs for me. Started healing and rarely go back.
