Sp in 2x caster = training wheels

Sp in melee+sp = giga chad

Same goes for most casters. Bermuda Triangle is about as much skill as melee cleaves.

Obv depends on tuning, but I’d say:

Boomy>demo>destro>aff>sp>arcane>fire>mm>surv>ret>bm>ele>dev

Sp Boomy Lock Ele Evoker Mage Hunter

Team utility and cc spam specs > kite backwards and pump instant dmg specs (mage hunter)

Not really happy with this response though i thought about it for a while and they are all so different that its hard to rank. Not just different flavors of zug like melees

I think boomy is the hardest because it’s the least survivable by far and it’s entirely dependent on casting clone to win and live, which means you cant really mess up DRs.

I think lock/sp next due to most hard casting and low mobility, but overall way tankier. Never need to be scared in wizard mirrors because you’re so much more durable (although stuff like fury war obviously worse).

Ele/evoker easiest for sure because you can kite wherever you need without losing damage and everything is always a viable kill target. Hunter and mage can always kite back, but have a much higher skill cap at the top end.

100%. It’s SUPER hard to evaluate because it’s all so matchup and map dependent. If fury warriors weren’t insane we’d see the usual complaints about lock/sp, but I still put boomy as “harder” even though it’s better in this current meta (IMO)
 actually im not sure about that, it’s better vs fury war specifically, but still worse than sp/lock vs everything else.

I will not rank spriest since im biased, but putting it anywhere near bottom is memes from melee zugs. Didn’t rank hunter because its not a caster and tbh should’ve excluded ele from the list too because of that reason.
