Not in how good you think they are, but how much you enjoy playing them.
For me:
-
Hunter - everything about it feels right for me and it’s a no brainer it will be my Classic main
-
Shaman - the burst damage potential in PvP, getting a Windfury streak is OMG
-
Warlock - I always wanted to be a goth kid, this is the closest I get now, and you’re never lonely with a succubus
-
Paladin - they’re so dam useful in any situation, I’m just too selfish to play one well, and that Tier 2
-
Warrior - quite fun and at time feels godly, and then a frost mage comes along and bends me over, I log off crying
-
Rogue - open your own lockboxes!
-
Druid - I like ERPing as a bear
-
Mage - do I have to wear a dress?
-
Priest - shove “the Light” up your bubble

The satisfaction of getting those Windfury chains is the greatest feeling I have ever experienced in WoW. Shaman will definitely be my main. I missed my totems oh so much. :’( It will also be nice to play a utility-class again.
Rank List:
Shaman - As previously stated will be my main. #WindfuryProc4Life
Mage - Will be my secondary + farming main.
Priest / Pally (Haven’t decided yet) - will be my healing toon for guild group runs/pvp
Druid - will be my Roleplay toon and backup healer if group already has a priest/pally
All others I don’t care about due to the previous classes will more than likely take all my time to level, gear, and progress… by the time a potential BC server if Classic does well enough.
Warlock - I feel like I have so many options with this class. Everything I do on it feels natural to me. I also played one heavily in TBC and loved it there too.
Mage - It was my first main. I’ll always naturally know how to play a mage
Warrior - It was my main in Wrath. I love the raw power of warriors and I like the spells used to tank as well. They feel good no matter what you’re doing.
Druid - I am not good at druids, but I love their mobility and the amount of options they have as a class.
Priest - Shadow is raw, pure power of evil. Mind control is the greatest spell in the game.
Hunter - We’re getting into classes I don’t like. Hunter is one of the most relaxed classes in the game though.
Paladin - I love the idea of a plate wearing, spell infused melee class. I’d love to play ret when it becomes viable, and I plan to if TBC Classic is a thing.
Shaman - I played one to 60 recently. I’m just not good at shamans. I am really bad at totem management, but like all things I could use practice.
Rogue - I have never played a rogue past 19, because I always feared I wouldn’t have the skill. I plan on alting a rogue to 60 and seeing if I can manage.

I’m sure if I had the patience to level one, I’d enjoy playing a shockadin support in pvp

I’ve played since vanilla with a couple notable and understandable breaks when expansions came out.
Having 40man raid healed with a priest in BWL on a dial-up connection built a deep affinity for healing and in particular holy priest.
I then proceeded and evolved to create the trinity of versatility for my account. Tank, healer and dps. Warrior (Sword and board), priest (holy) and rogue (combat). With this I could get my hands dirty in all aspects of the game and also be ready in guild to fill any slot in a raid.
Since then I’ve played every class PVE & PVP.
My rankings currently for enjoyment of play vary between pve and pvp. Since enjoyment is the only reason I continue to play then lets go with that.
- warrior (fury)
- Priest (holy pve, disc pvp)
- Rogue (Assas pve & pvp)
- Mage (all specs fun)
- Druid (boom & resto)
- Warlock (destro)
- Paladin (holy)
- Hunter (bm)
- Death Knight (Frost)
- Demon Hunter (havoc)
- Shaman (heals only, can’t get into either ele or enh)
- Monk (can’t stand this class)
That being said, life changes, I don’t raid much at all these days (family man) so just quick sessions online trying to max my efficiency to gear up 15x 120s. Mainly pvp but I seem to get just as frustrated (with stupid idiots in pug bgs) as I do get to enjoy it. I cycle through weeklies, warfronts, wq on each toon fitting in as much as I can in the reset cycle. I would love to raid and have contemplated getting back into it if late. I might have to take my warrior (main) back into the Frey.
