I would like to know if it’s possible to grind from rank 7 to 10 in one week taking in consideration the honor cap. I am currently rank 7 with 20%. If it’s not possible please explain why.
At rank 7 rank 9 20% is the highest you can get due to honor cap.

It is not possible. Why? Because you only have so many milestones per week at ever increasing amounts of honor based on your rank…
Bottom line there is an artificial cap on how much any player can progress in a week this keeps pvp progressing players in the same ball park and keeps you from making yourself sick by trying to grind 0 to 11 in one week.
Does that mean that honor cap is the same for everyone? or where are you getting that my honor cap is 256k? Is the honor cap universal and it changes by week? Trying to understand that part. My ranker says my honor limit is 418k
In ranker there should be a section where it says which rank you can be with different thresholds (up to 4 of them). These are the only possible outcomes. Any honor between thresholds or above the max threshold for your current rank does nothing for ranking that week.
This is not the same as the box where you give the max you want to farm in a week.
The highest rank / threshold listed by ranker is the highest you can get. It’s not 418k at R7. At lower ranks there is no reason to get to 418k.

Nope. You needed to get Rank 8 0% last week in order to hit Rank 10 on this coming Tuesday.
Your present honor cap is based on your present rank.
Example @R7 the honor cap is 256250 honor
@R9 the honor cap is 418750 honor.
@R10 R11 and R12 the cap cap is 500K honor.
The caps are the same for everyone regardless of participation, and they are only determined by your own personal progression in the honor system
Honor cap is the same for everyone of a given rank.
Also I highly doubt that your honor cap is 418k. Those of us with the highest possible rank this week (9 + 60%) have an honor cap of 337k to reach 11+0%. 418k would be an option to reach 11 + 50%, but we’re capped at 11
This was never possible to begin with and the reason why was unrelated to any cap. It wasn’t possible when there was no honor cap either.
Because when there was no honor cap it was on the old bracket system which was still a cap on how much you could progress in a week
