Did this patch just introduce rep to AV? No? Then please explain why AV wasnt popping before but is now.
Because the player pool is huge due to people ranking. Thereās never been a better time to get rep on the bgs you havenāt gotten. Av wasnāt popping at all for the longest time

So what youre suggesting is that āeventuallyā every level 60 will have full R14 gear and then just, what? Quit?
Some of you really want this to fail for some bizarre reason. I mean, the only legitimate failure point this is going to have is going to come when Premaders start trying to access AV via addons to get at all the PUGs that have abandoned them to dodge eachother in AB/WSG.

Addons for av premade? Thatās not a thing. Making an āav premadeā can be done with zero addons.

There were still 2 AVās up when I woke up at 6am. Youāre obviously not in touch with the pulse of the people.
Lazarak is trying to cope with pre-mades becoming insignificant. Not being able to control who is and isnāt the next GM is causing a great deal of Mental anguish. So much so that blizzard is preparing a counseling service. All former members of the bracket mafia are welcome to attend.

Laz has been supportive of this update because more people are PVPing and I know him enough to say that if things go south with WSG etc heāll probably just stopā¦ because this was being done for fun.
Whatās my opinion of AV ranking? Well I have had fun in there myself but NOT while 6 min rushing. IMO thatās about as fun as driving 4 hours in the prairies to commute. Not fun at all so not worth wasting any time with at all.

I also produced higher hph in warsong than AV.
Not sure why you are denying that higher hph choice is better

And? All the other BGs had games going too. I played some this AM before work. And guess what? I gotta play AV too cause I need the rep.
You should know this as a ranker. AV always popping while people need rep. They havenāt been able to get rep on era till recently
Itās really cool to see. Itās like gen 1 participation and to be honest, there arenāt a bunch of naxx people flooding the scoreboard. Most people are like p1-4 gear with the occasional p5-6 guys. Played more era in 1 day than I have all year lol

Really, I donāt think that it would be all Naxx-geared players right now. Those guys go in there to play with their toys once in a while Iām sure, but right now theyād be on their alts grinding it out with everyone else.
I was really tempted to come in yesterday when I got home but I know myself and this is like a hook and if I start having fun with it which means Iām grouping with other people doing premades I wonāt stop until I get to the end. Iām really glad itās going well for you!
