Seeing the people who hate the community part of the game in such an extreme way to where I don’t understand why they would play THIS version of WoW is rough. After a month I’ve gotten used to it mostly.
Some people who did rank under the old system and still like doing premades etc with the community aspect like that they can take breaks or that it doesn’t take as much time now.

Correct. r13 really, is only good univerally for warriors. It can be better for flag carriers than pve gear, but thats about it.

I’m not defending the new pvp system. Rather, I am highlighting the rationale used by Blizzard/everyone claiming it’s the bee’s knees. It certainly came with a cost. But so long as the majority isn’t footing the bill, they don’t give a damn.

For the nerds on the new system, I extrapolated a curve and y = -9407.051 + 11082.26x - 1943.109x^2 + 267.8953*x^3 seems to fit where Y is the Honor required to hit a rank threshold, and X is the Rank.

This matches the 8 Week to rank 14 they stated in the original post, so I am going to assume I am at least close.
I’ve never farmed that much honor in a week. Then again, I rarely have more than an hour or 2 at a time to spend on the game.

So right now there’s 4 AV’s up, 1 AB and 2 WSG. Looks like it pretty easy to avoid all the horde premades lol.

Oh ye that was horrible. Addons weren’t working, wand not working etc. All fixed now though. Anyways AV pvp is best pvp! Hopefully it’s a 24/7 thing.

Sure but the majority of people queuing right now are probably pver’s and the path of least resistance (least pvp) for r14 is AV.
I actually love this patch for BGs, so many people queuing. This is what happened when I turtled with a Naxx geared warrior. Probably terrible hph but pewpew.
