So BWL and p3 releases March 20th, and the rank 11 cap is removed April 3rd.
If I remember correctly, rank 11-14 takes 4 weeks minimum, which means we wouldn’t have r14 weapons until week 8 of BWL?
MC is already ending at week 13, and that’s including leveling and other stuff.
BWL will probably be 10 weeks long, so we grind for r14 weapons for…2 weeks of usage?
Why are we waiting until april 3rd to uncap pvp. It’s not like you can get r14 on March 20th.
Am I missing something? r14 just seems pointless with the current timetable
11-14 takes 5 weeks if you are 11.0, which means you’d have it on the 6th of may reset right?

If you don’t raid yeah, but AQ weps are better which is kinda the timetable in my head
I don’t think it’s true that aq weapons are better, the caster weapon is the same and the melee main hand is worse and there’s no offhand

The whole point of geting r14 weapons is so you dont have to compete with other ppl for weapons
It depends on the class for sure, some are better some aren’t, but at the end of the day we’re expediating the raiding process to have TBC in the winter, but leaving the pvp progress the same
pvp progress isn’t really the same though, the og rank 14 took 12 weeks of b1
that would realistically be like 2 or 3 times the honor we’re getting it at right now in 9 weeks

This time of bwl back in 2019 classic, you might have had 5-6 warriors in your raid with r14 if they were complete sweats.
Average guilds were lucky to have 1-2 r14s, considering timeline comparisons
This time youll have 30 thousand r14s all within the same month
They also had 19 weeks of BWL
I dont see an issue. r14 isnt for “bwl prog”

The issue is some of the most iconic gear in the game shouldn’t have a timetable of a couple weeks because they’re racing raid prog and leaving pvp prog the same. If you can’t understand that idk what to tell ya

r14 weapons are for warriors and rogues that have 30 people in raid to compete with.

R14 MH sword is #2 BIS only behind Gressil for Warriors and Rogues. In this short timeframe that is Anniversary 99.9% of Warriors and Rogues will never see Gressil. So for that item alone it’s worth it for Warriors and Rogues.
Most guilds won’t even run NAXX bro LOL.
