Ranged classes could use some help

Ya because melee has had to plant and hard cast spells for 9 expansions….

It is hard to get a range character’s rotation set after playing a melee, especially a fast moving one like a rogue.

It drives me nuts when tanks can’t keep all mobs/bosses facing them and just dance around with fire and magic shooting every which way, and then you get yelled at because you can’t find a good place to stand to cast or melt away.

Back in my day when I was tanking, I made all the mobs stare at me until they died. And I liked it!

Melee have traditionally had more mechanics to watch for than ranged. DF is the first expansion where there’s an equal split.

The thing, is, it doesn’t feel equal because of how hard ranged are punished for movement. Melee have always had the ability to quickly get back into position, while ranged after moving has to get set back up with their casts and rotation, all while already losing out on DPS from half completed casts.

Its the reasoning you guys have so many charges, pony spells, sprints, etc. While ranged have to start from square 1.

ha really? The biggest complaint i ever heard about melee was back when they got tired of playing whack a mole with boss toes so Blizz made the bosses shorter.
