There is none. Paladin is not designed to be a ranged healer, you can play at range during several seconds with little punishment, but the class is designed about being in melee.

Several of our key abilities: consecration, CS, SotR are melee and core to the spec working properly. You would be sacrificing both dps and hps by not actively being on melee.

Crusader strike can be talented into reducing both judgement and Holy shock cooldown by 2 seconds which are also core abilities of our kit, and SotR reduces then CS cooldown, turning into a kind of a feedback loop. This is impossible if you dont play on melee.

Our two casts are Holy Light, which is only casted with Divine Favor/Infusion of Light as its extremely costly, and FoL which is weak and only meant to be as a filler spell or if you are out of position AND holy shock/judgement are both on CD.

There are 5 more ranged healers to play with, I suggest you look into one of them since if you dont like melee Hpal is likely not the best option for you.

My biggest grip with holy is the crummy randomness of who the hell you will heal.

The heal should be a smart heal and auto target the lowest health people.

Sounds like you’re playing an outdated build. Avenging Crusader is noticeably behind Avenging Wrath builds at the moment. AW builds take away the randomness.

Holy Paladin has one a pretty decent reactive ST healing currently, this statement is not true at all. Unless you play AC, which is a pretty niche and weak build and its no longer being used (it was only meta because they pushed a buff intented for prot paladin into holy during 11.0.5, buffing AC healing by an absurb amount and this was corrected in this patch).
