Range Finder Add-on?

I’ve been leveling a new warlock alt and am wondering if anyone knows of a decent rage finder that can return the range to your target for making sure you can cast. I looked at twitch for Range Finder and Range to Target and came up empty for what I was trying to find. It would be helpful for all my ranged guys.

The last time I looked into this I was told that there was no way to make a range finder addon. But there have been many API changes in the years since then so not sure if that is still the case. I’ll also be interested to see if one exists.

You dont need a Range Finder. Just lock onto the target and look at your action bar…once the spell you are going to casts light up it means your in range.

There’s RangeDisplay on curse, seems like it hasn’t been updated in a little while, but it might be worth a shot.

I play a warlock. I understand exactly what you are looking for.

It’s what i use. it’s basically perfect. It allows you to accurately estimate your max range, your coil range, your fear range, and your NetOMatic range.

There are many items in-game that have various ranges that can be fed to the API. There is an item that’s usable on players and it has a 100 yard range. I use it to test if people are in range for Battle Shout.
