Depending on Devourer’s reception as a mid range DPS class, I could see DK getting something like a “Lich” spec that’s a mid range magic user if they do additional specs for more classes. I’d expect they add tank/healer specs to pure DPS classes first though.
UHDK already fits a pseudo-niche mid-range melee. I know Blizzard hinted at said “Lich” spec already, but the game needs way more unique spec combinations than a new spec that would actively hurt Unholy’s spec identity.

Exactly. Besides Festering Strike and Soul Reaper requiring you to be in melee, everything else is a practically range ability.

The poll was a reddit poll, not a blizz endorsed one.
Why would the juggernaut class even be considered for a range spec anyways.
