Does this happen to anyone else? I googled it and found a few posted elsewhere but, none of them had solutions.
Frequency - about 5 times per half hour dungeon.
I’ll have a target, be smashing them in the face, then all of a sudden I’m not because I have nothing targeted and, I did nothing to purposefully un-target. Super annoying! any help is greatly appreciated!
Check your settings. If memory serves (crosses finger) there is a setting if you happen to click the ground it will remove your target. I ran into this years ago and had to do some searching.
edit: not a clicker either so it took a bit to find it.
edit: could have been like sticky targeting?
happens to me all the time. especially when i cast blizzard, after placing the target marker maybe 3/5 times i lose what i had targeted, and to add more frustration, hitting tab to retarget does nothing – i’ll have to click on the nameplate to regain focus.
i presume it’s my vast library of addons conflicting one another, windows apt to let my mouse pointer freeze at random moments, or just plain razer product shoddiness that causes this
It seems a few of us have this there is no answer from blizzard even tho we pay to play this game. Iv turn on or off every targeting button and tried and tried still does it
This has been happening to me a lot lately.
If its not that setting where you “click ground to untarget” it could be a hardware issue, sticky keyboard, jittery mouse? try cleaning surfaces, vacuuming etc. its worth a try.
