After visiting this forum quiet few times, it looks very stale. Have we exsausted all of the classic topics? I see same old ones recycled over and over.

All the class discussions are in class specific discords. This one is all about the game and release.

Not sure what you are hoping for because this is pretty much how all gaming forums look.

This is pretty much how any forum about anything works. People make the same arguments over and over across threads and in the same threads. That is how forums exist. Content is mostly hollow and regurgitated.

And to be fair, until Blizzard gives us more information, it’s hard to really discuss anything new. Everything we know has been discussed to death and everything else has been speculated to death.

I share this thought, the community is very efficient in hashing out all the specifics for presented problems.

Anything being discussed as far as design philosophy and hot topics has been said before.

We’re just ready for news and release, aside from that it’s a lot of randomness. :slight_smile:

No, Diffing the Alpha build and the Retail client to see what they’re actually changing. e.g. They’ve removed the Focus object and all references.

There are always new ideas. Old ideas should be posted on old threads.

Yes, but until Blizzard gives us the final product nothing there is set in stone, so any information gleaned from it without information from the devs is speculation.

To an extent. But they’re not just randomly changing code for the fun of it. They have a known shape they’re going for even if we don’t know it, and they’re not going to work counter to that just to “throw us off” or anything.

The focus one is a key point for me because healers won’t have scripting like 1.12 or focus like 2.01+ so we’re going to either have to demand focus back or find a new way. Easier to make the change while they are changing things.

Will there be mousover macros in classic?
