Random question: do you guys think Ji and Aysa are still together?

I doubt Blizzard will address this, but do you guys think Ji and Aysa are still a couple or has the war broken up their relationship?

Aysa was pretty angry with Ji after he wounded Shen-zin Su, I can’t imagine her being okay with him sticking with the Horde after what Sylvanas has done.

Shh, leave them be. It’s safe in the lorehole.

It’s since been confirmed that they’re cool with each other and hanging out on the Wandering Isle. Last we heard from them, someone asked them how they were doing, and if they were worried about future conflict affecting their relationship, and Aysa just said they were together as of then, and that’s all they were focused on.

So as of now, they’re pretty removed from the Horde and Alliance as a whole.

Aysa’s dialogue after saving Ji in SoO made me cry a little. I think they’re still in love and hopefully the two will receive some more attention. You never know!

They’re secretly in league with Wrathion and are helping him plot the downfall of Alliance and Horde alike.

I heard that Aysa ran off with a Tuskarr trading tycoon. They’re living large somewhere down in the South Seas. Ji dyed his fur before buying a new turtle mount, and has been seen cruising the streets of Silvermoon. -nods sagely-

In my personal headcanon, the vast majority of Pandaren have no idea that the war is going on and believe that the Horde and Alliance are social clubs that they joined based on which fashion they like better.

By the time of Legion, they are together and pretty happy, training junior monks on the Wandering Isle together, you can visit them anytime if you’re a monk and go to your order hall. The whole Shen-zin Su thing is in the past, was pretty much done with after SoO really.

At this point they are just Token Pandaren characters, there to represent the player race while having no effect the story whatso ever. Their story is done and wrapped up offscreen, which is arguably for the best.

given that ji and aysa are both on the warships belonging to their factions Elite Soldier division, im gonna say it was a tragic breakup :X

I’m trying to kill as many Huojin as I can until she notices me.

I’m just going to assume they are, that they’re happily married now and having a bunch of little pandaren babies - away from all this mess and having the time of their lives.

Their roles as racial leaders is purely because there’s literally no one to replace them with. Consider their appearances at the Horde and Alliance embassies and warships to be a Captain Placeholder situation that will never be updated.

I hope Ji and Aysa are still together.

But I get the feeling Blizz forgot about that, and they hate each other right now.

Not too far fetched, Blizzard forgot about THEM for all of MoP until a brief stint in SoO

And then again until the monk order hall

Being forgotten is a better fate since they don’t risk being mangled by the current story department.

I just assume they have a cool spy story going on that we’ll just never see directly.
