Random little locations you enjoy

Jade Forest is my jam. There are so many random spots with loads of detail there.

Once upon a time, the ā€œDeadmines Secretā€. Where you could blink through the instance portal for deadmines then fall into a weird parallel world. Enjoy this ancient FMV showing it off in glorious 240p!

When I was doing Beta testing before Vulperaā€™s were released, my Vulpera mage had this happen in Silithus every time I would attempt to get the heart chamber I would fall through space for a long time, then end up in a off world. Strange glitches make for fun times.

one of my favorite moments in all of wow (since ~2007) was getting flight form on my druid and flying around nagrand. I would jump off of those floating islands and poof become a bird.

I did that for a looong time

I have a few areas I like to sit at for a bit. My favorite I think, is Guntherā€™s island north east of Brill. I like to sit on the log next to his camp fire. I find the Lich characters very fascinating.

Gunther Arcanus is a very interesting Forsaken character. Heā€™s one of a few characters that, of his own will, broke free from the Lich King. Heā€™s also a Lich himself, and instead of taking on a traditional Lich appearance, he chooses to look like a Forsaken.

Going forward I hope Blizzard bring him back. He could have been a nice contrasting voice on the council, though heā€™s kind of a hermit so I donā€™t know if that would work.

Someday Gunther will teach the Forsaken how to become a Lich. Or, maybe heā€™ll just sit on his island alone with nothing to do. Poor Gunther.

I donā€™t know if itā€™s still there but there used to be a cabin with a crazy cat lady in Elwynn Forest. Always thought that was kind of cute and just loved the feel of the whole zone. Especially the pumpkin patch.

Also, the darkshire inn (in Duskwood) just feels so warm, bright and cozy juxtaposed against the spooky, dark forest nestled around it. Similarily Ironforge is also very cozy, with lots of good hiding spots.

I vaguely recall too a little hill with a pond somewhere in Jade Forest, I used to like to perch on as it gave a good view of the zone.

Oh and the little town in Stormsong Valley, I canā€™t recall itā€™s nameā€¦ so pretty, I loved it there!

Oh and the garden section of the nighthold raid. I know one day weā€™ll get our own section of suramar as a gift for freeing the city
