First thing you do on all your alts is turn on auto decline guild invites
no way to report, because like others mentioned, theres and option in settings to block guild invites, trades, etc etc, even multiple addons that do the same + some
New Alt Checklist:
- Turn on Auto Loot.
- Turn on extra Action Bars.
- Turn off Guild Invites.
I should not have to ignore guild invites.
There should be a way to report these people without having to create a ticket every single time.
In a perfect world, yes.
But this is WoW sir, if they can’t even ban the bots what chance you think you got?
It’s come a long way, but it will always be an ongoing battle.
Scraping from my memory of WoW:
- They used to directly spam you in whisper.
- They used to try to fake being a GM in whisper to phish you.
- They used to send you mail advertisements.
- They used to hack into the main cities and then die in the shape of the web link.
- They used to spam forums.
- They used to invite you to custom chat channels in game to advertise.
- They used to spam your guild calendar with advertisements.
- A LONG time ago I believe they could just flat up run around with /say and /yell advertising it.
It’s definitely annoying, but turning Decline Guild Invites is just how it is. What are you going to do, join the first zerg guild invite you get? Those are a dime a dozen since theres addons that whisper guildless people.

When has that ever happened and when was that even mentioned or responded to by me? Money is easy to make, i made my 40 mount money just selling first aid books cause people too lazy to get. Was selling dragonscale crap for x2 price of mats or more too. Try just getting better bud instead of thinking everyone buying gold

All of these things are still a thing lol. The only thing I haven’t seen in a while is the Forums or dead bodies spelling something out.
Must be a Retail thing as I haven’t seen that in a long long time.
