Create a guild bank.
There is addon called BadBoy. It has nice function to filter words and word combinations. So every time someone /w with guild advertisement find some distinctive feature in their text, like “we are a fun group” and so on. After several tries your addon gonna sort out most of guild ads. Also, IIRC, in WIM there is also filter function.
edit: Just checked. I don’t remember if BadBoy actually filters whispers, but in WIM filter is REALLY good, with basic regexps support.
The addon scans /who and looks for people that are unguilded.
No addon should automatically find unguilded people.

You can just turn off Guild Invites/Whispers? I think you can even get rid of the window that pops up too

No its funny plus i love trolling guilds some times. Its easy 15 min heartstone too on an alt if youre not on a guild
It’s not that I don’t want to be social with people. These people don’t care about me in the slightest. These people are sitting with an addon clicking over and over and it’s inviting people and messaging people who don’t have guilds. There’s nothing social about it. If you want to run a guild fine, but actually message me. What we’re talking about here is spam.
I was in a guild on Classic and it was a lot of fun. This is not that. They’re probably inviting for their own selfish reasons (guild perks) which should be removed entirely.
Only option I can think of is to use BadBoy and try to think of a word or phrase that these whispers are likely use and the addon will always not display it.

Adding a person to my guild does nothing these days.
I don’t get them enough anymore where it bothers me but it amuses me if I switch between a few characters within a short period of time and they all get the instavite from the same guy.

Maybe your guild sure, but what if people don’t have guild perks unlocked? What about achievements? These are incentives to spam invite people just for perks. Guilds should be stripped of everything BUT the social aspects minus the guild bank. No reputation nothing.
Also I don’t appreciate you spouting off nonsense about me not liking social systems when literally everything I have ever posted on here promotes the social aspects of this game.
That’s more or less what happened at the end of Cata. I don’t feel the need to anyone to my guild at all these days, but if people join that’s’ cool.
Guilds had levels in MoP so idk what you’re on about.
This character isn’t in a guild and I get like maybe 1 a week (on Zuljin no less). I’ll live.
My server is dead and I still get them every few hours consistently. And it’s always from different people so ignore does nothing. It never ends.

Fight fire with fire. Raid the guild bank every time you get an annoying unsolicited invite. Most guilds have their bank locked down, but a surprising number of cesspool guilds don’t.
To be fair how many of these are you getting? Like 5-10 tops a day
Take over the guild. That is what I did on the Alliance. Ended up being the only person that had logged on in a couple years. Kicked everyone out besides my alts. Seriously, when the last people had a +4 year absence from the guild I doubt they would be coming back.

There is no way for anyone to know you have block invites turned on unless they’re also randomly sending guild invites out. And even then I’m not sure if it says you’re blocking invites or you just immediately decline.
Also, any time I get random invites I join and post wikipedia pages in the gchat until they kick me out. I have an addon that circumvents the chat limits for RP and it works great for dealing with these.
