Ever since I started playing again, I get random FPS drops while playing both Classic and Retail.
All my drivers are up to date and my PC is far past requirements for both games. I’ve tried a lot of different settings with no change.
Here is my DXdiag report - I do see a WoW hangup, but can’t identify it. Anyone know what it is?
We are on the same boat. Ryzen 5600X - 32gb 3200mhz RAM - RTX 3080 - 970EVO 1GB, working as intended on every other game that ive tested, but in Wow is a sttutering mess. Tried every solution that i could find online, includind a clean Windows 10 + Client install. Im now waiting for a 5800X3D as a last atempt to resolve this.
A 5800X3D will give you higher fps, but my experience with that CPU paired with a 4090 still causes stutters in WoW.
Yeah it’s odd. It SEEMS to happen most when loading into a new section of an area, like going into a different boss room in Naxx, etc.
