Random FPS / CPU usage drops in game

Hi, whilst levelling in ourdoor zones, I have been experiencing random HUGE fps drops which are also accompanied by a large decrease in CPU usage.

As you can see by the above, my PC is running the game perfectly fine until the CPU drop. I generally get between 60-100fps with max settings and have no issues with any other games on this PC. There is no discernable pattern as to how or why this issue occurs.

My specs are:
GeForce RTX 2070 (driver ver 457.09)
Intel i7-10750H CPU
16gb RAM

EDIT: also worth noting, I have been able to reproduce this without AddOns enabled also.

Deafening silence… I’d, too, like to hear response back from this. I’m planning on getting a rig similar to OP’s. Even on my current one which runs all other games well enough and smooth, WoW is the only one that’s super choppy. Albeit it’s been happening to me everywhere.

OP, are you also getting this issue in the major cities as well, as most topics are stating, or just in the zones beyond?
