Random Disconnects

Hello, I’ve been experiencing random disconnects while playing. I’ll receive the error WOW51900319 and when I try to log back in, I’ll get disconnected again within 5 seconds of spawning. It happens at least once while playing and often makes for a very frustrating 5-10 minutes trying to log back in. Any clue to what might be causing it?

Hey there,

Disconnections in WoW can be caused by a lot of things so if you haven’t gone through the basic troubleshooting yet I’d recommend that first.

If it continues to happen, running a WinMTR can be helpful in determining if there’s packet loss occurring in the connection between you and the WoW servers that might be causing the disconnect.

  1. Download WinMTR
  2. Right-click on the downloaded .zip folder and select “Extract All”, to extract the files to a new folder.
  3. Open the new folder that was created, then open the WinMTR_x64 folder.
  4. Right-click on the WinMTR application and select “Run as administrator”.
  5. Type the IP address 24.105.62.129 in the “Host” field.
  6. Click on “Start” and then launch the game. Allow the test to run for at least 10 minutes. Click on “Stop” when you’re done playing after you have experienced the latency or connection issue.
  7. Click on “Copy Text to Clipboard”, paste the results here, then highlight everything and hit the </> button in the posting section so it will allow links.

I have been having this issue since this morning. I am on the East Coast in Pittsburgh and apparently there maybe a huge issue going on with Comcast. Since before restart I was havig intermittent disconnects with the internet. I am still having this issue. I was able to connect for maybe an hour and get world bosses down before it became too much a problem to play. It’s not just with WoW having issues with just browsing internet. It will connect, then disconnect, and connect again.

I’ve had 8 random dc’s over a period of about 3 hours with the same error code as the OP states. Not ISP related, I live in Aus. This only started since weekly reset.
