Random Disconnects

Hello, having random disconnects throughout the day as I play. I called my ISP and they state they don’t see anything wrong with my connection or modem/router. I can reconnect right away after I disconnect.

Would someone mind helping me figure out what’s going on?

I am having a similar issue, I log on to my account log onto a character that is is Shatt in BCC on Windseeker server it loads and 2 seconds later DCs me. I can log in anywhere else Stormwind, Ironforge, even out in the world somewhere but in Shatt i keep getting DC’ed within seconds of logging in.

Provide a WinMTR that captures the disconnect.

Same thing happening to me; only started occurring after 9.2.5 patch. I’m still able to move my character and even see new messages in chat just cant interact with anything in the game enviornment.

There are no disconnections showing in those results. Did you disconnect during the test?

Okay, it doesn’t look like the internet connection is causing the game disconnection. Instead, this is likely an issue on the machine itself. I recommend reviewing your Windows Event Viewer around the time the disconnect happens to see what app might be interfering.

Hmm…I’m not really familiar with this stuff. This is a new laptop as well so not sure if I got a dud and need to return or not. One error message that keeps popping up around the time I get disconnected is:

Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.lan timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded. Client PID 2232.

And Also

6062 - Lso was triggered

You could change the DNS to another one, like Google’s 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1, to see if that helps resolve it.

If you’re hard-wired to the router/modem, turn off Wi-Fi. If you’re on Wi-Fi, it may be unstable.
