Random Disconnect

random disconnect happened five times already

This sort of report isn’t really helpful at all. You’ve not provided any information on if you were running addons, what sort of connection you were running, what you were doing before you were disconnected etc.

Random Disconnect, mean get disconnected from server, add-ons that wow approved that everyone in this planet uses, how much info do we need, running a gaming PCU I9 processor high speed internet hard wired, NO ERROR codes what so ever

Try resetting your router… do a trace route to see if it’s somewhere along the path between your house and Blizzard… is it a true disconnect? Meaning you get the disconnected pop-up and not dumped to your desktop (which would be a crash not a disconnection).

What are you doing in game when this happens? Are you in an instance (raid, dungeon, bg, arena, et al).

I noticed you have been having other issues as well based on your other post… so you’re going to have to offer more information.

done it all when the issue happen when i say random, means it happen one time today a in a couple days it happen again, like renaming pet how is it that works one day and others does not work, means its a server issue random doing daily’s

Getting constant disconnections again. This time, I’m only able to be on for a few minutes before disconnecting from the game with no errors.
Ran the WinMTR for the location of Area52 (the server I’m playing on) and this is the results from that - u1gFdk5z (pastebin)
DxDiag shows no issues. Here’s the pastebin for that - GSwGrMzt
It wasn’t being caused by an addon, it also wasn’t being caused by addon errors either because I was hoping that was the issue. Sadly this just started becoming more and more recent over the past few days, and as of today I can’t be logged in for more than a few minutes before everything on my screen is at a stand-still (running in place) then my game freezes after a minute, only to crash with no error. I wish there was some error to give but sadly it’s not giving me anything. I’m not entirely sure what else to try as I’m literally stuck just trying to play after game time was just purchased - it’s like I just paid for more game time and then suddenly the game wants to prevent me from playing.
I feel like it’s going to be a simple fix but honestly, I’m lost here. This was an issue before prepatch then everything was fine for a week, now I’m right back where I started.
More then one person having the same issue

add-ons that wow approved that everyone in this planet uses

Firstly, it is worth nothing that World of Warcraft and Blizzard do not actually endorse any addOns and they do not individually “approve” addOns.

what you were doing before you were disconnected

This question still stands and is generally the most important information you can provide.

As this is not a widely occurring issue (being disconnected every few minutes, as you say), I can only assume this would be an issue with your game files, hardware or connection.

Run a repair of the game files & if you’re still seeing issues, delete your WTF & Cache files and run the game with no addOns active.
If you’re still seeing issues after doing this, run a full reinstall of the entire game.
If you’re STILL seeing issues after this, the issue is almost certainly with your connection or hardware on your end.

for one if blizzard does not approve of add-ons and it will not be in-game let get that right and the other issue is assuming is the keyword that it can be the wtf file which I have rename and still have the same issue are you tech support do you work for blizzard and how many other games that we don’t have issue but wow only assuming is the key word

for one if blizzard does not approve of add-ons and it will not be in-game let get that right

Working is not the same as being approved by any staff. I think you’re confusing accessible with approved. You can access certain parts of the game via. addons, and the access to these files & code have been approved by developers to use.
The addons themselves are completely standalone. Blizzard, and the World of Warcraft team, do not individually approve addons. They don’t guarantee & approve the addons working correctly with the files they’ve provided to the general public to access and approved them to work with.

he other issue is assuming is the keyword that it can be the wtf file which I have rename and still have the same issue are you tech support do you work for blizzard and how many other games that we don’t have issue but wow only assuming is the key word

I have a very hard time interpreting this message, as I assume English is not your first language, but I’ll do my best.
Different games have specific connections to servers and other services through a variety of sources. This is why some games can have connection issues while others do not, hence the article they provide here to help with the issues you’ve described.
If you’re searching for a Blizzard employee’s response, the best place to ask is via. a ticket. The forums are generally to ask the public for assistance.

I spell it out to you for the none educated that think that knows it all are you tech support or an idiot that make-believe that he is one, are you role-playing, I have been in wow when it first came out I know the inside and out of it, I know when is untrue or true so go run along and roll play somewhere else, you must be one of those the believe that DDOS is still going

I believe a ticket in your first language would be best suited to your issues. Unfortunately your messages aren’t coming across the way I believe you want them to be in English.

English I know very well, what are the words am looking for, oooo yes coat riders that think they know it all but fall on their faces. but any way. Random Disconnect means in English, that disconnect on disorder bases, but you got your degree in a romper room, and I don’t see that you work for blizz so you must be roll playing

Howdy Doreleran,

These forums are designed so that players can receive help from other players who volunteer their time. You may not agree with them but please be courteous.

As Epibby mentioned, while addons are allowed they can sometimes start causing issues. We don’t support addons since other people create those files. We only support the default version of WoW, so if strange issues start happening, we recommend setting WoW back to default to test the game by itself without any addons. Once the issues are resolved, you can go back and try reinstalling the addons one at a time to test the game again.

If you still have issues, please provide your own MTR test so we can continue helping you.

  1. Download WinMTR
  2. Unzip the file to your desktop
  3. Run the WinMTR as Admin
  4. Type 24.105.62.129 in “host”.
  5. Click “Start” and open the game. Let the MTR test run for at least 10 minutes to capture this issue occurring.
  6. Click “Copy text to clipboard”
  7. Type two sets of four squiggly lines and then paste the contents of the WinMTR test between: ~~~~ Paste WinMTR Test Results Here ~~~~

Note: If it’s not letting you post, break links by adding a space before .com/.net, so you can post them. You can also upload the MTR contents through Pastebin and post the link (ex: Pastebin (dot) com/123456).
