Was killing Mudrock Spikeshells as a 43 rogue and just dropped dead after killing the turtle. Was above 50% health. ??

Man my grandmother chewed us out good when one of my cousins was shooting turtles with his bb gun. He was kinda messed up.
Of course he went Navy later in life.

Could the shark have chomped you?
Was it just one turtle? I think those guys are social.

Should have checked your log to see what killed you. If you were in the water, you probably got ganked by those high level sharks.
On land. What happened to me said I took between 45-55 dmg 7 times then dead. Was thinking a debuff could have done it but all I fought was the turtles.
Also had Soul of Iron on, not sure if there is a issue with that not reported.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess you were killed by something a little more mundane than a malfunctioning, cosmetic, Soul of Iron buff.

these things have some kind of thorns thing going, everytime my wolf hit them he took damage and when he was lower than i was it could kill him if i wasnt paying attention.
Do you recall any thorns type ability?
Yeah they have a damage shell type ability similar to Thorns (Druid) but I don’t believe it does that much damage.

You could’ve had a lag spike and the server caught back up and you had been getting munched on for a bit but it all compiled at once when you reconnected.
