Hello! So recently I’ve been experiencing some issues with WoW.
Recently when playing, the game will freeze up for a couple of seconds and then come back to normal. This will carry on for a bit and then it’ll turn into the game minimizing and then popping back up before eventually it crashes and says, “unable to start up 3D acceleration”
I’ve googled fixes for that error and nothing seems to work.
GPU and all other drivers are up to date. I’ve done a clean install of windows 10 and the issues continues. I do not have other apps running in the back ground either. Also my framerates drop drastically. From 150 down to 5–20 range and then will get back up to 60–90 range before it happens again.
It’s been getting progressively worse and worse as the days go by. At first it would happen once or twice in a day. Now it’s happening 5-6 times in an hour.

CPU: Ryzen 3 w/Vega 8 integrated APU

I run directx11 (also tried 12 and same issue)
If I can link or provide other information let me know!
Thank you!

There are several crashes resulting from the GPU not responding to Windows in a timely manner. You might be able to fix this by doing a clean install of the drivers with the nVidia app, or using Display Driver Uninstaller to fully remove all drivers, then reinstalling. If this doesn’t work, you may want to check that the card is properly seated in the PCI slot, or work with a local PC technician.

I have reinstalled wow and Windows and the same issues persists. I have run numerous other games such as FarCry 5, Assassins Creed Valhalla, Overwatch etc. with no issue in those games, only wow and only since 9.0.5.
