Random crashes on WoW Classic

  • WoW crashes to desktop, apparently without any pattern. No error messages.
  • After this happens, when I try to login again it immediately crashes (same thing, no error messages, nothing) sometimes before getting to the character screen, other just after connecting to the server.
  • Tried removing addons, did not work.
  • Tried deleting WTF folder. It seems to work temporarily but after a few minutes, it crashes again.
  • If I use the battle.net app option of “reset in-game options” it’s the same thing: seems to resolve temporarily, but crashes again after a few minutes (I think it does the same thing).
  • Tried the “Scan and Repair” from battle.net app, did not work.
  • Tried reinstalling, did not work.
  • Game seems to run fine on Cataclysm Classic mode (didn’t have any issues so far).

If I give up and come back one day later, I can manage to play for maybe a couple hours before getting back to this loop.

VGA is a GTX 3060ti, updated drivers.
Intel processor, core i5 10th gen.

Thanks for any suggestions/help.

The crash reason will likely be in your DxDiag. Export it to a text file to see the errors at the bottom (cannot see in the graphic interface).

Hey, thanks for the update. I saved the dxdiag and I can see a lot of DiabloIV errors in the diagnostics part.
Is there something I should look for specifically? Or should I just copy/paste it here?

Thanks again.

Just copy paste here or to pastebin.com and share the link. You may need to put it in code blocks using the preformatted text option.
