I personally see the argument for both sides. A lot of people just like the speed of Blitz. I enjoy both so to me it doesn’t matter terribly. There are times I do just enjoy the speed of Blitz.
So question:
Do you want to see the random BG format moved to the Blitz ruleset? Or maybe at minimum have a BG Blitz non rated mode for people to play as well?
I would love for a non rated blitz so people can learn the run down for rated.
Still see people going to MT and FR on EOTS even after 2500 mmr

Especially not for AB / DWG.
I’d rather blitz rules be tinkered with a bit more.
I believe they are doing this still. They even have changes on the PTR to how some of the flags work in node maps.
Yeah. Those would seem to be to prevent outlaw rogues from quad leap fast capping flags.
I’m just generally not happy with how DWG and AB play in blitz. I understand they were trying to prevent people from having to just sit at flags that don’t get contested all game, but instead you just end up with a similar situation where often times the best way to contribute to a victory is to run between two nodes and never see action.
I’m not really expecting a major rework to those maps. But every time I would get them while queueing blitz, it kinda just made me want to stop queueing.
Randoms are kind of my sanctuary away from that.
We just need a bunch of new bg maps to freshen things up. Been saying this forever lol. It’s a pve dominated game though, so it’s unlikely we will see more than 1 new map every few expansions.
Blizzard could also reskin the battleground maps we have now, just to change up the theme. Imagine if you could get seasoned maps for spring, summer, fall and winter? Same objectives but at least something visually new.
Yup. An example is using Inky black potion in arathi winter. Beautiful .
Adding Tips and Tricks and strategies with the in game UI talking head for new players or pvers getting into pvp.

AB and DG favor rogues even more than the normal version. As if rogues need more catering.
EotS is total garbage. When the way to win is by not doing an obvious objective like capping the flag, you’ve done something wrong.
I still enjoy Blitz, but I would like it more if they hadn’t effed with the mechanics.
To me Blitz rules are better because of the speed.
True, but not just Rogues. Rogues have the biggest tool kit for sure.
I am hoping some changes come to EotS.
