Anyone else sitting 9-12 minute bg queues as alliance, does anyone know how to reduce these times? I play sod and get 30-50 second queues and that basically has 0 people, why are bgs 10 minutes average on retail.
Merc and queue as Horde.

Hirav is right, or you could play a healer. For the first 2 days of the new patch a lot of folks may have been getting into that new content. I was pvping in it as war chest drops are very fast and no flying means players cant excape as easy.

Am horde and I certainly don’t get instant pops. 4-8 minutes is pretty standard

Too many alliance players and not enough horde players. The ratio is probably 70/30. That’s why in Khaz all the crates are won by alliance horde has no chance, not enough players.

Crazy i did not know horde were lower in population now.
I saw somewhere that there are more night elf players participating in PVP than all horde races combined.
I had up to 21 min queue times yesterday queing as alliance and only 3-4 minute queues as horde in the same time.
Please go comment/like my forum post so devs see this and fix this faction change nonsense and implement this properly:

I’ve been back a few months playing Aliance, these crazy long ques are killing my motivation, but on the bright side, I do have some Horde character, I guess I’ll play them for shorter ques.
You can also use merc mode with your Alliance characters.
