Random BG as leveling method with such imbalance?

So there was always huge imbalance in this game since i remember, but lately its so bad that world “balanced” has become meme.

I’m playing horde and oh boy i feel bad for alliance players. Especially in random BG. Not even that they can’t win, they can’t even re spawn properly. Horde bias is nothing new when it comes to world of Hazzikostas, but for real.

I was leveling horde character trough BG’s and victory ratio is 9/1 in bad scenarios it was 8/2. I was like that must be just sharding or RNG , but then i tried alliance character. Damn!!! 23 BG’s 0 wins. And even random players inside are like " be lucky if you win one"

This needs to be addressed and fixed. High level pvp players, and mid maxed players should get their own group. Party syn vs party sync. Random players vs random players. Make some balance in this game. You can’t expect a random quest giver geared player to win against 2 full mid maxed charactehrs.

Blizzard doesn’t care about PvP.

They never have and never will.

but what is left for Alliance side? Since their racials are garbage, they can’t compete in anything. Whole alliance is like Vulpera to the horde. You play vulpera just because they are cute. Same if you roll alliance. Only if you wanna look cool, and or like naked mogs

Party sync is basicly like twinking, it’s kinda funny they made that feature after removing twinks from normal queues.

That’s because there was a small community for twinking, so blizzard and Ion wanted to bring balance there. You know , because that was really huge problem

I actually saw a lot of alliance twinks while leveling in BGs, because they can’t win at max level.

I ran several BGs on a newly leveled dwarf warrior last night in attempt to work towards the conq weapon reward and hoo boy was it rough… I even waited until hitting ilvl ~400 before queuing, but the Horde were still so much better geared they were 3-shotting me as a prot warrior. Man I miss Legion PvP templates.

Funny, I’ve been leveling a DK and have won probably 8-9/10 games each day. I actually find the Alliance wins a lot more while leveling than at level cap. It was amazing skipping WoD just doing BGs and winning.

Are we blaming Ion for Bgs that were developed when he was a player?

Also it’s a player mentality thing. Many PVP players are horde whereas alliance caters to folks who don’t normally do PVP, unless you could that time when humans had EMFH.

I haven’t played horde BGs in a while but don’t they still have higher queue times? If you’re waiting ten minutes or so for a BG of course you’re going to try hard compared to only waiting two or so minutes.

during Wod and Legion i managed to level up by loosing BG’s

The only imbalance that frustrates me is every low level by I do the opposing team ALWAYS has more healers!!! And I lose like 75% of the time because of it no matter which faction I am playing! Then when I am playing a low lvl healer we have too many… one time in wsg low level our team was 8 healers 2 dps or I see the other team has no healers and even though I am the healer I can still see the imbalance and the other team losing cus they have no heals.

On the downside though you have to wait 30min to 1 hour to get a bg queue though I guess.

you played 1 game of wsg and lost.

played 2 games of AB and lost both.

so let’s assess this statement:

i guess i feel bad for you; you couldn’t win three games.

It’s not kind of funny, it’s absolutely hilarious.

Balance has always been a meme. Especially until Wrath. And even then…

I think they generally did from vanilla through at least Cata. Different (i.e. better) devs/designers though. And the community was different too.

It’s not as bad as you portray for alliance leveling. The issue I have with the auto level system is it’s open to abuse by FotM specs, though it is annoying when you get a DK or DH in low level that dominates the board. You get teams of hunters at low level, coordinated CC; things you shouldn’t see in low level BGs.

I’m rather ambivalent to the issue. It is an MMO and I think people should be able to group but it does open up the system to abuse. Previously people were limited to grouping with level appropriate character which self limited the ability to stack.

I think they were thinking more about possibly improving queue times and ‘allowing friends to play with each other,’ but somehow they neglected to contemplate gear/scaling issues.

last night I went duo with a friend queing for random bgs and we won 7 out of 8 and we lost the last one due to a premade of 5 arcane mages (level 70 to 79 bgs)
I can’t say I win most of them but maybe 50/50, Alliance gives up too easily when horde gets ahead

i can agree with that. its this mentality where ally get a little bit of heat and its the end of the world. all this doom and gloom and people end up leaving. everything compounding. just tough the damn game out. if we lose we lose. who cares. whatever happened to playing hard to the whistle? there has been so many games that we coulda won OR we did end up winning because new people coming in at a deficit and toughing it out. the other one is the blatant carry. coming into bgs with 70k. ally already has an uphill battle. atleast come prepared. jeezus.
