All I see on these forums, in regards to PvP, is people crying about pre-mades in random BG’s. It’s actually insane people want to take the lowest, simplest form of PvP in this game and regulate it because they can’t stomach a loss. This whole argument about it being “unfair” is laughable considering everyone has the ability to queue into a BG with four other people… If anything make brackets for item levels so that when people are halfway through gearing their alts or gearing off-specs, they don’t have to be plagued by people who are too cheap to buy AH PvP gear getting one shot every 30 seconds.

Blizz should match premades against premades only.
It’s pretty bad facing a fully coordinated team with a bunch of varying skill/gear randos.

This has been happening since time immemorial, you’re just gonna have to get over it and act accordingly. There’s zero reason to cater to people who have the option to do the same thing but don’t.

At the same time, maybe put it into perspective? It’s a few minutes…big deal…take the L and move on
Or, go look and join a pre-made…it’s not a big deal
I don’t mind premades queueing into randoms, but I think it would be funny if they put premades against other premades, so they can’t just stomp the other team with their significantly higher average ilvl.
The reason I like premades is because sometimes I can get in a team with them and finally I get a good team. This happens 1 in 3 times if they take five spots out of 20 in the battleground.

RBGs exist now. Go there and face a fair fight instead of cowardly trouncing headless chickens.
Thankfully, ilvl isn’t an issue anymore.

I leveled and geared four toons since the expansion launched to be ready for this season, won plenty with pre-mades and lost many while solo against pre-mades. At the end of the day it balances out. The average WoW player, or at least forum user, just seems to be feel like they’re owed something as if it’s not already a cakewalk to get into end-game content.

Random BGs are a cesspool of the worst players in the game, just because people decided to Queue together does not mean they’re good or fully geared.
Pretty pumped for the season to start to do some actual PvP.
The entire point of random battlegrounds is to get gear for rated PvP. Never once did I imply random battlegrounds were the end-game in this situation, in fact I essentially said the complete opposite.
I can understand their argument. Having a premade breaks the definition of random grouping. Maybe premades can do arenas or rated RBG? Just my 0.02 cents.

Anybody whose gear is up to par for rated PvP isn’t doing random BG’s. This post is about people trying to hinder the ability to gear up efficiently because they’re too lazy to form their own pre-made.
I get full honor gear the instant I get level 70.
I even have to spend the extra honor in order not to cap sometimes.

I guess it does suck for someone who doesn’t level via BGs, but thankfully you can go to epic BGs to get your honor grind done faster, and also almost no one would care about 5man premades in a 40 man.
But when you come with a team/guild using voice chat and coordinating in a random 10v10/15v15, it’s clearly an abuse of the “fair play” expected* from random BGs.
*: At least Blizzard should strive for that, as every other game does.
This take is so atrocious. “They haven’t fixed it so therefore it’s your fault”.
Why does anyone who hops on for a quick random BG need to get together a premade because of something something time immemorial.

I disagree. I do BGs and have full pvp gear on 3 toons. I like to pop in a bg for fun. I’m not into rated content because it’s too time consuming meeting group times.

PvP hasn’t been fun since whenever they added pvp specific gear sets to grind and ilvl requirements to join things. BC? LK? Hated BGs ever since.
There is a higher variance in skill in RBG’s right now due to the fact that people are farming chests for patterns. Crafters who don’t normally do BG are doing them for the patterns. Same thin happen with Uncanny gear in BFA.
