Ramkahen rep grinding: which cata dungeon is best?

simple question, doing the ramkahen rep-grind for the camel mounts, what cataclysm dungeon would be best for me to do?

I would see if Vortex Pinnacle gives rep. Farm for the drake mount while you’re farming for the camels.

Edit: WOW I forgot that Cata had tabards. Yeah, do Vortex Pinnacle, Zul’Gurub and Storecore for chances at the mount.

just tried vortex pinnacle, did’nt give rep till i went in on heroic… lost city of the tol’vir did though. zul’gurub i’ve already got the mounts from (and never want to go there again, it took FOREVER to get that darn raptor!), stonecore… will have to give that one a shot. thanks for the heads-up! :+1:

edit: also halls of origination gives rep too.

I like to put on the Ramkahen tabard and run Grim Batol just because it has a lot of groups I can mow down relatively easily.

This is probably the best answer with all the trash packs this zone has. Just don’t kill any while you’re on the dragon.

My mind always goes to “two birds; one stone”.

also stonecore did’nt give rep till i went heroic with it too. gonna try grim batol, see if that works without having to go heroic.

I think once you hit a certain level you only get rep from bosses and/or the heroic variant of the dungeon.

Curious does VC and SFK give rep since they were altered during cata?

eventually your going to have to do heoric. once you hit honored or revered.

not sure about that, i hit revered, 4 bars into it, still gettin rep from grim batol. i mean… not getting ‘extreme’ amounts of rep, but still!

Honestly it’s probably just faster to wait till the Cata week and then just do the zone. With 50% or 100% rep, it’s probably doable with questing alone vs the daily lockout for heroics.

If you need it faster, why not just do all the Cata heroics with the tabard?

Well the correct answer is any Cata dungeons that drop a mount that you do not already have. Assuming you have all of them: ZG has alot of trash that gives rep in the entire instance and is the best for rep but its heroic only and can do it once per day if I recall. Stonecore and Grim Batol are the next best dungeons to farm rep.

Finally do it during Cata TW week for more rep per kill (same with Wrath dungeons and TBC dungeons for rep during their respective TW events) for more efficiency and knock out your x5 TW dungeons while your at it to kill 2 birds with 1 Stone(core).
