maybe Sylvanas is serving him or his boss and maybe the god he is referring to is N’Zoth. How we are chasing after him or shall i say we will. and maybe the timewalking week and the 8.2.5 release where lined up to make this connection. it would all make sense. especially with the whole pride thing and how this expansion has been nothing but faction pride. how full of pride are souls must be so filling to some void or death god.
i have a feeling we are not done with illidian or sargeras. i have a feeling the next expac will involve not horde or alliance but dark vs light. if you look back to legion they brought all these light wielding characters in and they keep adding more they even tried to force illadian to the light. I thought them adding the horde / alliance emblems next to your characters almost like theyre getting ready to add a faction choice. But i feel like it wont be horde or alliance something more like the lightforged and “something edgy here”. Before saurfang died he said that they where never true horde.Also in the Mag’Har orc cain you see all races even horde can become lightforged maybe Yrel get currupted by the light or chosen to be the lights champion just as sylvanas is deaths champion.
So my theory is we all die those attuned to the light Andiun and Yrel choose to defy death making the world unbalanced and such illiadin and sargeras return to fix that ballance and we get to choose our sides.
