Rambling Rant on Sylvanas and the Horde

They got loa’ds of calories.

That is the biggest load of crap in this thread so far. I recall a thread…maybe a year ago where you called wpvpers toxic and generalized (as you always do) those that enjoy that avenue of gameplay. Your comments upset Ephie…freaking Ephie, easily the nicest and most easy going person on this server. She doesn’t post here anymore.

I don’t…think so? They have champions and ‘Avatars’ of their loa but that’s a different concept than what the drakkari and the blood worshipers did

they did worship Hakkar though

i think they mostly just sucked the power out of Hakkar’s corpse

Guys I play a Kul Tiran, but I’m not one irl.

I’m actually a tauren.

But the result is the same, right? Trolls end up not being great for their gods.

Tortollans have never eaten anyone in a mad quest for power.

HERE’S THE BEEF :cow:

given how often trolls seem to kill and/or eat their gods, i think if i was a loa i’d be in the market for some new followers

gnomes seem pretty chill

Don’t worry, you’re a Kul Tiran. Haven’t you heard the wise old proverb?

It’s not who we are on the inside, but our WoW race/class/faction that define who we really are.

Heaven help those who post on alts.

Gnomes probably could invent the best loa home grills this side of Azeroth.

You throw your loa right on there, pull down the top panel, and hssss it seals in all those delicious loa juices and flavors and god-powers that other grills just can’t handle!

Headcanon: Gnomes are resolutely chill and every god secretly wants them for their own because of the low chances of them being eaten are, but Gnomes are staunch atheists and cannot be bought.

No…no not really. The Champions/Avatars/Head Priests of Loa are simply that, chosen by them to wield their power for as long as they’re worthy and loyal.

Consuming a Loa’s blood for power is something specifically the Drakkari and Yzma did. And the blood trolls corrupted Hir’eek and (temporarily) killed Torga.

I’d say like 3 betrayed Loa out of hundreds are pretty good odds. If anything, The tortollans should be the ones worshiping the light.

no old turtle people gonna genocide the orcs any time soon

they’re too slow

Well, hang on. Where are the Gurubashi and Amani Loa, then?

Zul’jin’s septic tank.

Could we all just pick a standard loa, or would that mean we’d have to Loa our standards?

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Kassnudra here has a Loa of Fish… or Fishing? She has a few Loa, though I still want to develop them at some point. I just know there’s a Loa of Fish. And of Hugs/Good Vibes. Maybe a Loa of Curiosity since Kass likes to adventure and would probably offer at least one of the treasures she found to such a Loa?

Gurubashi worshiped Hakkar, Shadra, Hi’reek, Betheek, Shirvallah and Hethiss.

and outside of Hakkar (an evil god who was killed, raised and killed) and Shadra (who was absorbed by Yzma) they’re all still kickin

the Amani worshipped Ula-tek, Nalorakk, Akil’zon, Jan’alai, and Halazzi,

who are all still alive cause you actually spar/kill their champions in Zulduzar.

I’m no longer taking part in the “Orc warrior demographic has problems” discussion because it’s impossible to do so without having the bony finger of “stereotypes are bad” shaken in my face. It’s not a stereotype when it’s really happening but I’m sick of talking about it, it will NEVER change.

I feel like we’re dangerously close to the “not all men” discussion, but I don’t know if the petri dish of our forum culture is ready for it.

It never will be as long as it’s not permissible to look at a duck and call it a duck. I’m done trying.
