Velen’s son Rakeesh was the Man’ari that Kil’Jaedan cruelly ordered to the Exodar to kill the Naaru O’ros in Legion. Since Rakeesh was a demon, he should, in theory, still be alive somewhere as we did not slay him again on Argus. When we finally defeated Kil’Jaeden, his sentiments were surprising for me. In the end, he admitted his regrets, and his envy of Velen’s vision, and for this, Velen calmed him and put him out of his misery.
I’ve seen a few people bringing up Man’ari here and there as a playable race and I always doubted it, however I’ve looked into it since then and given that
A.) Demons are diametrically opposed to the Void Lords, which opens up the possibility of us allying with them in the distant future against the Darkness just like we did with Illidan in Legion
B.) There is no evidence that Rakeesh is dead, which means Velen’s own son is an active Man’ari in the aftermath of the fall of the Burning Legion
C.) It is clear through Kil’Jaeden and the various examples we’ve seen of Man’ari that Eredar retain much of their “self” as demons, due to their high intelligence and magical affinity which was unmatched in the cosmos. It was this quality about them which attracted Sargeras to them in the first place. They truly believed that opposing the Dark Titan was futile and that they were enacting cosmic justice by thwarting the Void Lords.
…they seem a little more likely.
I was sour when we got Lightforged instead of Broken. Theirs is a story which is unfinished as they have not yet become “unbroken” and we seem to have left many of them on a few shattered masses in space, and so Broken should be next. HOWEVER, if we get another cosmic Void Lord expansion down the line, Man’ari Eredar would be one of the things I’d look forward to. (Along with Ethereals)

Man’ari female fire mage would be the only female character I ever role. Sacrolash? More like smackdatazz. The men are cool too as long as you don’t imagine the Red Guy from cow and chicken lol.
I’d want a warlock. My own lady eredar with her succubus would make my yuri dreams come true.

new alliance master race incoming. Also, give us orc and man’ari demon hunters.
Fun Fact: Wrath Guards are actually Man’ari Eredar as well. They have clawed feet like the Broken and Lost Ones. My personal hypothesis is they are what the Broken would have become had they embraced the fel. They are the honor guard and front line fighters who serve as fodder to protect the higher castes of Man’ari.
I think Eredar would fit nicely into the Horde given the Fel theme. I don’t imagine they’ll make a third Drenai race for the Alliance anytime soon. I think it boils down to whether or not they are willing to give the model to the otherside or not. I was a bit disappointed with Void Elves, that they didn’t do this when they gave the Blood Elf model to the Alliance.

I think that the Horde equivalent of Draenei would be Mogu. I don’t really see the fel theme anymore, maybe the Old Horde. And I agree that every race should get a few passes before Man’ari are considered. Each race has at least 3 subraces that we can pull from so I’m not concerned about that. I am glad you agree that Man’ari are an open, not closed book.
We need to have class based Allied race unlocks
You can roll a Man’ari Eredar if you have a max level warlock. The reason is the warlock has summoned you to their faction and, well, with the Legion not around, not like you’ve got much else to do

Uhm… yes. Sign me up for Lothraxion paladin unlock. Also not all eredar are warlocks. Some were fury warriors (wrath guards) and I’m sure that fire magi would be a thing as well. In theory they should have been able to ally with Illidan as well.
Are draenei the new elves? can we get void draenei next?
Eredar uniting would be huge for the alliance. Lore wise, Man’ari can disintegrate whole cities just by kneeling in the dirt and drawing a few runes. Zandalari always brag that they are ancient, but look how long the Eredar have existed. The Eredar had already created the greatest civilization in the cosmos 10,000 years before the first trolls were crawling out of the trees!
