Rake / Rip

Hi there, new to Feral here and I’m trying to see if there is a macro I can make that when I normally press it it will cast Rake, but when I hold down Shift it will use Rip?

I got a 12 button mouse I’m getting used to and even still with all the druid abilities it still feels a little clunky based on button placement so I am looking to save room on my keybinds lol

#showtooltip
/cast [mod:shift] Rip; Rake

Thank you so much. EDIT:

Hmm I am seeing the button changing from Rake to Rip when i holding shift but when I hold shift and hit the button together it is only doing Rake dispite the tooltip button changing

It’s probably a keybinding conflict.

Make sure you don’t have something else bound to shift+keybind, as that will take priority of a macro modifier.

The quickest way to do that is to open up the keybindings and bind something random to shift+keybind, which will overwrite it so you don’t have to go digging for it. (Then unbind it, of course.)

Also, check to see if shift is bound to your focus cast or self cast key in your interface settings under the combat section.

If it’s not that, then sometimes multi-button mice can be a bit finicky with modifier keys. It usually comes down to making sure you’ve got the most up-to-date software/drivers for the mouse.

Ya, by default SHIFT 1-6 are bound to Action Page 1-6. You’ll need to unbind them.
