Raise the gold reward of guild groups / runs

I’m not asking for anything extreme, but the gold rewards of running group content as a guild group haven’t been raised since the Cata / MoP era. 400 gold for a guild dungeon and 1500 gold for a raid boss barely covers 1 person’s repair bills for a night of raiding.

Agreed, been wanting an increase for years as my guild’s “bank manager”. The gold doesn’t even cover the repair bill from running said dungeon or raid boss.

I assume they just abandoned the idea entirely along with guild levels. Probably wary of the money funneling directly to the GM like cash flow if it were buffed to relevant levels.

That said, the guild challenge rewards are limited to begin with, I don’t see why it would be a big deal.

Either they should update it to reflect the modern game’s economy or they should officially scrap it.

First off I want to apologize, English isn’t my first language and I’m on mobile right now so I can’t really use the tool I’m used to correct my texts.

There is a “not simple” way to fix the issue and not letting GMs keep all proceeds that would probably cost us a raid tier Lol.

Make a Guild Bank interface with the AH, Guild Auction House or GAH but still have what ever is in the normal AH available for purchase, GAH would only be a purchasing interphase. Guilds gold can only be use to buy consumables like potion, vantus rune and mats. Make the everything purchase through the guild bank interface of the Auction House Bound to the guild. (Usable only in the guild tab of work orders if the items are materials and the bound to guild). anything crafted with Guildbound item would also become Guildbound. So if a guild supply mats to get you a shiny new sword, if you leave the guild you need a new sword cause you won’t be able to keep it equipped.

So if someone is buying potion (through the GAH) only guildies can used them. If your officer core need a specific Raider to get a new weapon everything can be done in house with the guild money. This would also promote the leveling of profession in guild and also guild wanting to recruits crafters for their need.

This fix would also encourage Raiders to join guild / organized group since potion and flask would go up in price due to inflation. You can now put back the loot guild cut that was in the guild before Legion. Top end guild will not have to run as much carries, they would also be more incline to invite non Raider since they help fill the guild bank and you have now (in theory) put back the idea of guilds in the game.

This would also help new players get a permanent home, since the trade off for training a new players or someone who has never raided / ran M+ at high level isn’t in the game right now. Make the gold a Guild gets proportional to what is achieved so 15s pay more than 10s but still way less than timed 20s. Guild will want their lower ilvl players to be able to clear higher content. Reward could look like that:
Keystone 2-5s =X 6-10s = 2.5X 11-15s = 5.5X and so on, also make it scale with the amount of guild players. Same thing with raid Normal - Heroic and Mythic boss. Re Clearing lower raid level for guildies would make sense for gold purpose. You can also add a similar system as the bonus valor if it’s the first time someone clear a Keystone or a Raid boss.

I am a GM, I personally have more than gold cap, but so many of my Raiders are struggling with gold because of enchants, gems and consumables. Those 30min phials are also not helping.

It would be amazing to get a way to actually supply my guildmate with all what they need without having to put my personal wealth in.

I know this will never be implanted and tbh I just had alot of time this morning (slow day at work). But if someone has a better idea I would love to hear it.

120g per mythic raid boss kill is also just an insulting amount.
