That doesn’t address what I said though. WoW has never had those MMOs mentality and more than likely never will. And if the immediate reaction to that is “Well then WoW is going to lose a bunch of it’s population”, I point to Classic. Where the same situation of you needing to raid to get the best gear was far more prevalent than now. Yet it was still a huge success.
Not my problem.
Weird fantasy of leaving context out of everything but okay.
Please, what other type of progression would you like? Please explain.
Everyone has the opportunity to progress. Whether you take it or not is up to you.
Oh man want to open another can of worms? Alts my god most cant log in more than a few times a week with their main this is not an alt friendly xpac.
NOTICE: No jab just for you.
Solo players should be able to get close to the best gear at a significantly longer rate. Sure it flies contrary to how the game has operated for years, but for the long-term health of the game it is a smart move; gearing so far has failed to make up for the overall lacking feeling of this expansion.
What fantastical delusions you must have in believing that you have a voice.
Nope. Just no.
I disagree with this. Primarily because it’s a MMORPG and the game in my opinion should focus on grouping players together to complete goals as a team. When speaking on the health of the game I again point to Classic. Which showcased that even over a decade later, can still have a massive successful community and it relies on the players to do the content together moreso than Retail WoW.
Why aren’t you doing more dungeons for loot if they reward loot the way you think they do?
Why are you on the forums? Interesting takes from you all throughout this thread.
“WhY aRe YoU oN gD fOrUmS? dO dUnGeOn GeT LoOt. LiStEn To Me Im On FoRuMs SaYiNg GeT oFf FoRuMs”
Add a section on the vault for completing x number of group world quest.
Increase the covenant cache item lvls.
Expand the covenant ilvl gear to 199 and again to 201 when the 90% as you said based on your website that closed in 2019 finish normal raid.
Just few off the top of my head.
What I am doing is being realistic.
I am encouraging you all to do the same, because it is unlikely Blizzard will agree with much of your side of this argument.
Its just not good for the game they are designing right now.
Ok, so the friends you play with play more than you, but they only log in ‘a few times a week’. And you play less than that? I’m just trying to get a sense of how much progression you expect to occur with what sounds like a small amount of play time.
That gear exists for pushing the harder content. If you’re not pushing it then what is the point of having it. Conversely to what you’re saying if you make everything so obtainable it diminishes the value of doing the harder content. You don’t have to play everyday to do heroic or high key content anyways. But the only real need of having “BiS” gear is for pushing the “hardest” content.
Maybe I’m just being bitter, but I’m having a much better time on RuneScape, which is more of a social single-player game at times but still has great group content.
Cause I get tired. I don’t mind doing dungeons for loot - sure it might suck doing a full clear of Normal Nathria and not getting loot, but I’m having fun with friends.
WhAt ArE yOu DoINg WiTh YoUr TimE?!11!22@1
Well it’s not bitter, but it’s just your personal taste. Runescape does a great job at creating a world full of players but also relies more on you to progress through the game. Having friends helps out a ton though. But the point is that’s how it’s built to be. WoW has and always will be built more towards players coming together and completing tasks to progress instead of playing the game solo with the expectation of getting the same results.
Correct once I got all my 197 my playtime dropped due to no reason to log in. They still ping me when they need a tank for time walking or mythic 0 week.
They also only log in now to do their time gated crap and raids. So I dont get pinged much anymore cause they also no longer run other stuff.
You should be playing the game right now, why are you on here? Come on man its fun and most of all rewarding! ![]()
