How come some people the rainbow cancels on? But others get the rainbow? I notice they don’t have the normal buff that makes them immune to effects so I don’t think it’s an item

There’s certain objects that stop people from putting toys or affecting them.
A silencer of some sort.
This is sadness because the rainbow toy is one of the best
There’s a punchcard for the mechagon trinket that gives you an innate cancel for toys affecting you
Opposite faction and pvp will do this. Incidentally I recently came across a consumable that works not only on opposite faction but also on flagged or non-flagged toons. It seems to ignore everything. I won’t link it cause I don’t want it getting nerfed. But suffice it to say it escaped blizz’s nerf bat over the years since it’s a wotlk item.
