And you can also spam M+ all day every day if desired, while Raiders get one shot at loot per boss per week.
M+ deserves to drop lower ilvl loot in comparison for that fact alone.
That, and 10m raids drop the same amount of loot as a failed 5 man key, depending on RNG. The fact that it’s possible to have double the people, be successful, and get the same amount of loot (literally HALF vs a successful key) is insane. Gearing through raid isn’t any more feasible than gearing through base M+ while it works this way.
I agree but I’m not feeling the same pinch as some of the others I hate these current dungeons so much so I do one a week on my character just so I have something to open in the vault and do nothing but raid. I hate this current expansion so much I log on Tuesday and Wednesday just to raid and I grudgingly log on one other day to do one mythic even as I’m typing this I’m wondering why I play this game still
And that is different than completing a mythic 10 that normal rewards a 203 ilvl but gives you a 220 ilvl in the vault how exactly? There is no reason why raid vault rewards should be base entirely upon the ilvl of the content you completed while mythic+ can be up to 17 ilvls higher.
Just as an example a mythic 10 rewards gear on par with the normal raid but gives you a weekly vault reward on par with the last three bosses in the heroic version of the raid.
Because that isn’t increases you can feel, the whole point of how many ilvl it is between things is so you can actually see your upgrades reflect in your DPS and they actually feel like upgrades.
Indeed. Something like 20% of the player-base has AOTC. 4% of the player-base has KSM. Or in terms that are more understandable, the ratio of all players to players with AOTC is the same as the ratio of players with AOTC to players with KSM.
The only actual counter-argument to this I’ve seen put forward is that at the current time, KSM is purely prestige, whereas AOTC is tied to loot, and more players will strive for KSM once KSM is itemized. That very well may be the case, but at the current time, this idea that AOTC is harder than KSM is total bunk.
I feel the same way. I did my first 10 yesterday and it was challenging (even though all of us were ilvl 210), and it made me feel really bad because I finally got loot and it was item level 203
That was a little disappointing. I would SO sacrifice the 220 in the vault (and the vault in general) for great gear to drop from the bosses, chests, and end-of-matches.
