First of all what do you mean by gate keeping you? is it because you cant get invited? then make you OWN group its free, no one is stopping you.
STOP complaining, I reached 3kio as FERAL DRUID no one gate keep me from doing it. This is mostly pugs! I only run keys with my IRL friend and thats about it.
It’s funny that most people complaining are the fotm spec players. Literally it’s easy mode for you.
Not gonna lie. I was a little leery on your claim of being 3k as a feral druid and had to check. Kudos to you BUT you also ran with mostly guild members, so of course you had no one to gatekeep you.
While the message you made I still agree with, just form your own group and push your own keys, don’t act like you pugged all of it.

Or just do what I do; I don’t bother with m+ at all except to help out guildies. Takes a bit longer to get geared, but 463 simming at 80k on paper with sub 500 io score, who cares =D
First off, you can’t tell people to not voice their opinions just because you don’t like it. Secondly, some of the people have valid points vs it. Perhaps listen to some of them, rather than just telling them they’re wrong and ranting on with personal experience?

nearly everyone who is against raider io “gate keeping” has only done +2s and want to get invited to 10s. Tell me a valid point? I would really like to know because it seems all of them are mad they can’t skip the grind and want to skip to higher lvls of content with no proof they wont wipe on every pull
I’m not invited to groups because I don’t sign up for them lol. M+ is not something I ever see myself enjoying! Maybe if they got rid of the timer and actually let you loot the bosses haha.

Nearly everyone wants to run content 8 brackets out of their’s? How did you gather this data and where is it? Because asking to get into content way above your own sounds like a lie…or a really expensive carry.

Dungeon without a timer is a guarantee win there is no challenge to that.
I believe it came about because of the fact that you need 4 followers and yourself to make one group . To do so you would impose certain entry requirements to join your group as in gate keeping.
Your solution of “you lead” would mean you wouldn’t have 4 followers to invite but 5 empty groups since everyone would be leading their own group .
Making your own group is the easy but incredibly annoying solution unless you’re a Tank or Healer.
Hardest part is getting the other DPS to curb their ADHD for 10 minutes while you wait for a tank.
I mean timer or not M+ still feels like a guaranteed win. You still get loot. I don’t like having to zoom through just to get a better key. Ideally, people would just pick what challenge they want when they go into a dungeon. The keystone system is a big turnoff regarding M+.
My biggest issue is that the loot comes from some random magical chests! Where does that gear come from? Not the bosses lol.
It’s not an empty group if you accept the people who apply to your keys.
Where’s that one Night Elf Druid that always made posts about how “Feral Druids are oppressed” or something like that?

My favorite thing is that people who are anti-IO are almost always people with 0 experience in M+ who expect to be invited to a 10+ key and then get upset and blame RaiderIO for not giving them what they want.
M+ is not a guarantee win. If you don’t complete the dungeon in time then you downgrade your key and less chances of getting a loot, apparently you get higher chance of getting a loot if you time the dungeon.
What does it matter if you get the loot from boss or from a chest? So you mean you want to kill one specific boss in a dungeon and call it a day? lol
Annoying thing about raider io is when you cant get in a group at like 7 when your gear is good. Once you get your io there isnt a problem.
Before someone says it again, I’m not running my own keys. I prefer spamming groups.
Point is, it’s a pain and that is all.
Raider io is a good thing imo. For one, it gives people that really want to push themselves further than 15s some sort of inentive, if it is just something to brag over.
People do not want a frustrating experience. Raider io helps reduce the chances of that.
