I did one mythic last week. A +13, just for something from the vault.
My Raider IO went up. Is that an indication of how many people actually did mythics last week? I think yes, because 2 weeks ago if I had done one, my rating would have gone down or stayed the same.
No, each key level is worth a certain amount of points. For the ease of explaining, every key level is worth 10 points when timed. So a +5 is 50 points and a +10 is 100 points. Again, not actual numbers but generally they go up about 10 per level.
Your RIO score is the added scores of your top runs for each dungeon. So your top MoTS, ToP, DoS, ToP, NW, HoA, SD, and PF. Your 8 scores added up is your io.
Your io cannot go down. It may show up as nothing if your character has been inactive for several weeks, but running one will re populate the score.
So, its just my raider IO rank thats unchanged after only completing one mythic this week. Kind of what I was saying, nobody was doing mythics this week.
If somebody within 10 ranks of me had done a mythic to excel in rank, then my rank would have changed.
? I dunno what to say to that. If Iâm 15 and somebody at 16 does enough to get to 15, then im 16. If my rank remains the same from week to week, then nobody did anything worth any value.
somebody ranked ahead of you pushes from a +23 to a +25. your rank doesnât change. how do you conclude just from looking at your own rank that ânobody did anything of importanceâ?
wait, are you like rank 3 on your realm or something? i donât know how else you would think using your own ranking as a metric is meaningful
No, because score isnât standardized. Itâs absolute. Itâs not a ranking, itâs a cumulative total.
As far as your rank not changing. You have no idea what the people above you did, how their ranks changed, or what they achieved. Just that nobody below you did enough to overtake you. Which is, honestly, pretty reasonable. Especially if youâre reaching the front few pages where youâre already in the top 1% of the 1% etc.
The red flag is that youâre trying to use innuendo to push a narrative instead of saying what you think is happening outright and supporting it with actual evidence.
To answer your inference, no, I donât think itâs unusual that as we approach the end of a tier and the majority of people already have the gear they want that there isnât a massive push from the people ranked below you to seize their opportunity to push past âHolybellâ this week.
You are confusing people because there is a difference from RIO score and your server/region/world ranking. Your posts were not clear. As the thread progressed it sounds like you are talking about your server rank.
Your server group is low-mid population and might explain the stale growth of players overall IO score. The median key for your server group is a 10.
