Raider IO - Remove it

Yeah it’s stupid. I have taken many so called good players into my key and they have sucked and some have left.

Today I just got a guild and did mythics with them so that is the best way

if you don’t pug then why do you use raider io?

Screening characters/players isn’t a bad thing. Mythic+'s timer is pretty much the only reason why Raider.IO exists. 1 mistake can easily ruin 5min.

If keystones didn’t drop a level for failing, it would absolutely lightly up the “requirements.”

No. Its not.

Its about me not wanting to waste my time.

RaiderIO is about playing your chances, and trying to get the best odds you can.

A person with experience has a much better chance at being able to perform than a person with zero experience.

Because there are 50 million other DPS fighting for the same 1-3 spots. Its not because of IO. Its because of how many DPS there are. I could close my eyes and blindly invite DPS for 10-15 dungeons in a row and by chance alone, still not pick you.

oh of course, telling people to do my way which is having more consideration for people is WRONG…but

but being a fan of raiders io because you its just selfish as hell in a mmo like 90% of the population is complety RIGHT HUH?

Stop making M+ required content for people who don’t find it enjoyable.

I think they’re already doing this though in Shadowlands, with multiple sources filling up your weekly cache thing.

I don’t use raider io, that was my point. My question was does your guild run keys? Start a group with them!

I’ve seen some 460’s apply to M0s for the weekly, and I have signed up for M0s on my DK which is 458ish ilvl, so I don’t doubt that.

At some point in your life you’ll realize that random people ingame or irl don’t owe you anything and it doesn’t make them selfish.

trust me its cause of the IO… insta declined… anyways you said “its about me not wanting to waste my time” dude you are wasting time playing a video game… so it is a waste either way XD

I am not certain you are being “declined” and the group isn’t merely being delisted because its full.

People rarely ever decline. They are far too lazy.

Yeah that’s a legitimate point, imo. IO should hardly even be expected or required at the 1-6 range. Past 7, you maybe want to go ehh eyeball if you’re new or on a alt that still is gearing up in the content. If you’re on your main or helping a friend then you can just glug a couple good ones. It’s legitimate there since a lot of player power like essences and good traits are highly significant and timegated and there’s a lot of "How am i even supposed to know if this bis essence at r2 is better or worse than this easy to get but worse r3? ) What if a guide gets outdated, etc.

And then you’re gonna outlevel gear in like 20 minutes anyways, so it’s not really worth worrying over every sim until you start getting near max.

9s and 10s are one of the exceptions though. Trashwise with a group that knows about portals or explains them, a 10 can be much easier than a 9 since you can start skipping. But Pugwise, if anyone doesn’t know the affix.

For all you know, you could be going lfg purgatory watching solo tanks get eaten alive while the radio 404 afk healer claps for you excitedly saying “Ooh ooh a magic trick, do it again!”, as your corpse lights up in flaming ashes and explodes to the wind.

It all depends on what one considers fun. If they still have fun in failed keys, then it’s not a waste. But if they only have fun when they’re doing well, they might consider a failed key a waste of their free time.

I recommend running with your guildies. I’m sure they’d be delighted.

oh yeah, i hate vanilla wow but its easy to see why that version of the game made so much success and the recent version of the game is so hated…
random people dont owe you anything, yes you´re right, but wow is not a single player game, and i cant do a +15 alone or get gladiator or finish a mythic raid alone, and neither does anyone else…so if the game its gonna force us to play togheter then at least not have a TOOL that screw with this

If you were Alliance I’d help you out. I think the main issue though is that you’re a Ret Paladin and you will have alot of competition from other damage dealers. When I form a party in group finder my list is filled with damage dealers within a few seconds, I then have to pick based on class/spec, item level, and experience. I understand the frustration, but you’ll just have to be patient until you gain more experience and item level.

That’s a weird logic you have there, people pre-screen their friend to improve their success rate or whatever (its their choice), it has nothing to do with trying to achieve gladiator on their own.

Let people do their own thing, if a random player only want to invite random japanese girl as the healer and gnome as their tank, even if it took 15 years to fill his group, its his choice, it doesn’t concern me at all.

Also you’re a fool if you think people doesn’t screen their raid member in Classic.

A VERY good point. Ret doesn’t bring much to the table in m+. To be invited, you must stand out among the other 25 waiting to be accepted.

If it’s not raider.io people will use something else, and as it is now ilvl is not a good way to judge someone’s skill. I’ve heard from friends of mine about people in the 470s doing less DPS than they should be doing, and I’ve seen many DPS in pugs who have no idea of how boss mechanics work or forget/ignore affixes such as Bursting/Explosives/Bolstering even if they are decently geared.

Titanforging was also really bad at discerning competent players based on ilvl.

Thanks Vorec but I use to play ret in WoD. I play UH DK - Blood DK. Been back 2 1/2 weeks and can’t seem to progress beyond my 457 ilvl due to raider IO driven community. I can’t pug a Normal raid cause people doing normal are farming it and my IO shows me never doing it. Can’t do heroic raid cause I’ve never cleared normal… so it is just a snowball affect.
